| Mine only wears them when we are going walking. I had the same problem as you did as the harnesses being too bulky for my little one. Mine little girl is 2.5 pounds and I have tried so many harnesses but never liked any of them and she didn't like them either until we got one from a yt member chattiesmom. She made me two for both of my yorkies and I love them!!! For my little girl it's not bulky, heavy or anything, it's just perfect and she doesn't even mind it being on her at all and it doesn't pull her hair either. So you may want to look into that. They are very well made harnesses and I wouldn't use any other now that I tried her's . |

| I say you may want to keep looking for a new one regardless of how long he wears it. My Cecilia wears hers' 24/7. It is just like her collar. There are not any chaffing or rubbing issues, but i had to try a few before I found one that was good for her. It is a step in one. It is weird when she doesn't have it on because she comes up to the bed and to get in the car and I use the harness to help her up. Camille Quote:

| Our yorkies wear their harnesses almost all the time. The puppia ones are great and the xs should be the perfect size. The S is perfect right now for our 4.5 pounders |

| Remy only wears his to walk. We used to have the puppia kind, but we outgrew it - and he figured out how to pull it off over his head he did it outside once and it scared me because all of the sudden he was free! We now have one that slips over his head. He's good about it going on and off, even picks his paw up for me and puts it through himself |
