17.You will join a great forum like this and ask what you think are stupid questions but they will be answered with care and consideration. Apology accepted. In future just consider this point.

| Soooo true! Add these to your list as well! How do I know I'm a crazy dog lady? 1. My dogs have more designer clothing than I do. 2. My dogs eat better than my family. 3. I only go on vacations that are "pet friendly". 4. My dogs ARE my best friends/children 5. People bring me their strays because they know I can't say "no". 6. Black lights are banned from my house. 7. My recent flooring purchase/choice was made based on the habits of my pets. 8. Men/women...who needs them! I have my dogs! 9. I schedule regular "spa days" for my dogs, but not myself. 10. I spend more money/time at the vet than at my family practitioner. 11. I feel worse about missing a meetup than I do a family reunion. 12. Tax refunds exist ONLY to buy yorkies or to buy stuff for those yorkies. 13. If someone tore something up, it wasn't one of MY dogs! 14. If you want to visit, you need to get permission from my yorkie. 15. If my dog doesn't like you....bye! And then join us in the Crazy Dog Ladies of YT! We're now at 60 members, so you'll be in great company! ![]() http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gro...ladies-yt.html

| Brought a smile to my face! Today when I dropped Bristol at the groomer after visiting with her for a few minutes she asked if I had "human" children! It must be SO obvious that i treat my girls like my kiddos! |

| I loooove this and can so relate! My hubby and i were trying to conceive (still are) for the longest. (almost 4 years) and have endured countless heartbreaks. So for me, and countless others out there, my dogs ARE MY CHILDREN. We plan on loving and spoiling them for all of their lives. Thanks for sharing, OP!!

| My yorkies are like my grandkids. I'm still waiting to be a grandma and my adult boys think it's great that I lavish my yorkies with attention and don't rush them to have grandkids for me!

| Love #16 in the original post "You will become upset when people say "its just a dog" because you know it is not." Now that is the honest truth! They are so much more. My Abbie is my best friend, constant companion, lap warmer, sock stealer, bed hog, and the second half of my heart that I never even knew I was missing. She is my husband's "man dog" and our daughter's "sister." I couldn't imagine our lives without her.http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ictureid=80417 Last edited by HShanks; 01-23-2010 at 12:49 PM. Reason: to add photo |

| Wow, you go girls!! We are crazy about our Yorkies!!! Before I joined this site, I actually thought "oh my goodness, am I going nuts, how can anyone love a dog so much" (I hide in the bathroom, to wipe mine's butt, so hubby doesn't tease me!!!) If everyone in the world owned a Yorkie, what a wonderful world it would be! |

| I used to say I would NEVER dress my dog, never ever - and I used to make fun of my friends that did... until I got a Yorkie.. lol. I don't dress him inside, just coats for outside as it's cold - but my friends still remind me that it's still clothes and that I said I never would.. haha. I watch the clock at work ALL day, and all I'm thinking about is getting home to check on Oliver and play with him. My family and friends think it's just a dog and hate how much I say no to, just because I figure Ollie is alone enough as I work 40 hrs a week. I could go on and on.. thanks for the list... made me feel less alone, lol
