I love this list - it's all soooo true.:p |
I was a reluctant Yorkie Mommy..... My 16 year old daughter BEGGED me to rescue her friend's Yorkie from the not-so-fit home she lived in. Sugar's living situation at the time was she was one of two Yorkies that were cared for by SMALL BOYS  Sugar belonged to a now 7 year old boy (she is not yet 3 years old so the boy was about 4 when he was given this responsibility) They had just moved to Florida from OK and the Mom was pregnant with her 5th child (the first girl), this little girl has Down's Syndrom~ and they needed to move yet again. The boy Yorkie was going to the housekeeper. I could not say no  I told my daughter she was responsible for EVERYTHING ~ I didn't want anything to do with aquiring more responsibilities and being tied down to another dog. That lasted just about 30 minutes.......:p Sugar is now "MY BABY" and there is no doubt about who her Mommy is and that she was sent into my life because I NEED her :aimeeyork more than she needs me probably.... Fast forward 7 months and I fit almost EVERY one of the "dangers" listed above:rolleyes::D and I would never go back for the world! |
