I saw his picture and literally fell in love. I just knew in my heart that he was meant for us. We prayed and prayed that we would be chosen to be his forever family. Well today Kit let us know that wish would be coming true! I can honestly say that I don’t think I have ever experienced such joy in my life

. I cried like a baby when we got off the phone. It truly feels like our family has been completed with little Teddy.

I will be meeting with Kit this weekend to pick him up. I truly cannot say enough good things about her and her rescue. In our eyes they are angels. I feel like I have found a true close friend in Kit and I look forward to helping her cause in any capacity that I can. These people are amazing! All of the Yorkie’s that are brought to their rescue are treated like their own babies. When kit updated me of Teddy’s status after his neuter and dental I was so touched to hear that she rocked each and every rescue separately to sleep with “mommy time” that night while they recovered. WOW. She has been so understanding and caring throughout this whole process. I know Teddy has been particularly close to her heart and it will be hard for her to let him go, but I have assured her plenty of visits and pictures!

I have attached some of the CUTEST pictures ever of Mr. Teddy that Kit has taken. I think we might have a little super model on our hands. Kit says that in spite of his past, he is the biggest love bug ever! He has certainly come to the right home for “lovins”, LOL. He is in for a life full of snuggles and kisses. It is hard to look at his sweet face and imagine how someone could literally request that he be put to sleep. I just cannot fathom it.

So I will post more pictures and an update of his first meeting with Ralphie and Agnes after he is home with us. I know that they will have so much fun teaching little Teddy what it is like to be a dog.

Thanks to Kit again, you are truly Teddy’s angel!

OMG!! He is the cutest thing I have ever seen, how could anyone lock him in a cage with out kissing and loving on him!!! I wish you the very best and you are an angel for giving him a loving home where he will get to experience life ofr the first time and the love of pack-mates

Totally!!!!!! When do you get to meet him? I know it helped me to chat around on here to take my mind off all the anticipation too

So excited that Teddy's going to such a loving and happy home!! It's amazing when this little ones, who have been toss aside like trash are blessed with such wonderful and loving people. You and Kit are amazing!!! Thank you both for keeping us looking to do more and be better human beings!!!

Oh my gosh!!! He is absolutely adorable. What kind of monster could look into those eyes, and ask that he be euthanized? The breeder needs to be euthanized.

We totally agree. It is great that there are people in the world, especially this Vet, who would put himself in the possible position of getting himself in trouble to save an innocent animal. He said he would do it again if the same situation presented itself. Kudos to him!

I am not sure that people understand just how wonderful this vet is and what the penalty could be if the breeder didn't sign the wavier papers. These dogs are property and as such should have been put down if the owners wanted it. I remember a hugh lawsuit about 4 years ago for this very reason. The original owners didn't want to take care of the dog anymore so asked the vet to euthanize the dog. Long story short, they found out a year later the dog was still alive and sued the vet.

So let's continue to celebrate the positive side of this story and rejoice with the excited new Momma to be, Adrienne!

Bless you girl! Teddy is going to be one heck of a lucky little boy!

My little baby Teddy made it home safe and sound yesterday

!!!

We just love him so much it is unbelievable! He is such a little sweetie and all he wants is to be held real tight and kissed on

. Ralphie and Agnes are thrilled to have a new brother too!

Teddy is just precious and I can't believe that we were lucky enough to find each other. After all he has been through in his life, he still just wants to be held and snuggled, ahhh it kills me. It really is amazing and it makes me want to hunt down whoever treated him so badly and hurt them

.

I seriously can't put into words what a precious little angel he is and how much I already LOVE him. He has the biggest brown eyes and when I am holding him he leans his head back and just stares at me. It literally melts my heart. I am still kind of in a dream over it I think! If I am not holding him he walks around in little circles because he is so used to living in a cage

. The second I pick him up he just crumples into me like a little baby and relaxes. So far he is only really at peace when he is being held. So he definitely came to the right house

!! I know that with a little bit of time, tons of "lovins" and interaction with Ralphie and Agnes, this little boy will start to know how to act like a dog and learn how to relax and enjoy life

.

So I just want to say thank you again to everyone who has been so sweet and sent love Teddy's way. He is looking forward to spending the rest of his days as a spoiled Yorkie Talk baby!

I have attached some pics that Kit took the 1st time I held him and one that I took of him in my arms when we got home...

P.S. He ran straight to the wee wee pad and peed when he got home. Such a good boy. And he slept through the night. I am so proud of him.
