that being said, there are LOTS of people out there more than happy to buy a nonregistered dog at a good price. i am one of them, my girl can be registered with APRI, which means nothing to me, and probably means nothing to anyone else, other than being curious about her family tree (not worth calling it a true pedigree) i could really care less about her registry. she's not a show dog, and she's not a breeder, she's a family member. she could be registered with the target bridal registry for all i really care, so i'm just saying this to let you know that you don't need to fear that you won't make a decent sale from your puppies just because they don't have a full registry, even though now it sounds like they do. being part of a kennel club doesn't make a dog better than any other dog IMO. it's still a dog, it will still be purebred yorkie and beautiful and as long as the buyer wants a pet not a show dog, they will be fine without the papers and paying a decent and fair amount for them...


good luck, so sorry you had to deal with such a lying and manipulative person and got caught in the middle with her. i'm glad you aren't giving her a puppy, she doesn't deserve to own dogs IMO she's not a good owner or breeder. hope those little ones go to great homes, interview those buyers ok???

appreciate the thoughts and comments. its never been about registry or money if you have followed the threads. two out of four are being givin to family and one sold to a friend for vet. cost. ive always wanted one myself from my momma, Saide. thats how it all started. but will never do this again. love my babies way to much for this kind of deception and dishonesty. there are many dogs that need loving people like myself and others. i think for her it was about free pup and money perhaps. i dont really know. shes one of kind though and does not deserve a dog. yes, i agree, my dogs are my family not show, not breeders just my loving family members to me. at the end of the day, i just want to know their safe, being loved and cared for. thanks for the comments.

If it is the Canadian (CKC) registry AKC will cross register your dog (after they research the pedigree). If it is the Continental (CKC) one they will not.

Hey, I just looked at your pics..... you were sure blessed with some darling pups. I'd be keeping them ALL, they are too darn cute! . That's why I could never breed my girls. Glad to hear most of them will stay within your family.

Oh, and Sadie's prego pic.... wow she was about to pop. Just curious, what is her weight and the sire's weight, how did the delivery go, and are the pups girls or boys????

i didnt know either. after several times speaking with them, i fax all certificates and two generation i had from ckc on Sadie to them. it went to their "registry research department". they told me at that time it would take about one month to research her. sure enough research came back and they sent me the forms. i call them to verify that the forms they sent me was indeed registration forms. they were very nice and said with payment ???? and these forms, yes she can.

hi, thank you. they are all dolls. sadie is 5.9, sire was 5.5 lbs and delivery was a nightmare. poor baby was exhausted and coulnt help so my DH and I had taken over with the help of some great people hear. nearly lost the last one but we all fought hard. sadie had 2 grils and 2 boys (weight 6,7,8 and 9 oz)

hi, well if you go through the treads you'll see i havent heard from this lady. until yesterday. pups are over 10 weeks old. i gave them away to family at 8 wks when i didnt hear from her. gave them a good home. since yesterday she has left me three threatening messages and is taking me to court. today i had to call police to try and stop harrasement via text messages and voice mail. its very said. one of her messages was good luck with your cheap puppies, i have akc you have nothing!! shes gottin very personal as well. im glad i did what i did and further. i have puppy love. i dont need papers. just an update. hope i get some support here...

I'm so glad you didn't give her a puppy. The way she's treating you, just imagine if the puppy upset her how would she treat it. Too scarey. I'm sorry you're going through this and she's being such a rude person to you. I'm so glad that you called the police! You should get a copy of the police report and keep it along with a photo of each text message she sent to you, and a copy of your cell phone bill showing her phone number calling your's...just in case she takes you to court. I was afraid this would happen, did she say how much you wanted to keep you from going to court? I think the judge may find in her favor. Sorry you have had to go through this.

no, i left her a message when pups were 5 wk that i need paper from sire. 4-5 wks later she called. her message: i fianlly got the paper in, call me if you want them. second message: you must be mad cause i didnt get them in your time frame. keep your puppies i dont care. have fun with your cheap dogs mine or akc yours are nothing. thats when things got very personal. i couldnt call her back. i had to call the police yesterday. she was talking about things that didnt have anything to do with dogs. like: get your free attorney and bottle and pills ready, youll need them. the slander got worse. i just couldnt call her back. i was shocked...i showed the officier all the texting and voice mails i have received in one day. wow. i thought i was dealing with a nut case. she keep up the personal stuff. i dont know where she got that information from except back in 2007 when i lost my mother i had a medical issue one day. 911 was called. my ex-neighbor came over. since no one knows me here i can only assume thats were the info. came from. VERY CRUEL. i was fine then and im fine now. and i was lucky i didnt have a heart attach that day. how can one person be soooooooo cruel. the messages toward the end had nothing to do with puppies...

Well, I'm glad you made a police report, and I think with all the evidence you have, you can at least show the judge, why you didn't want to give her a puppy. If you had some written evidence of what the going rate for stud services were in your area, the judge might just be inclined to award her that amount and not the amount of a yorkie puppy.
