Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | She is beautiful Rachel. I can already tell that you will be a great mama when you start having real babies seeing her all tucked in bed.

| I have asked for plenty of advice here. Everyone has been very helpful. I'm not going to call my vet everytime I have a question about food or grooming or stuff llike that. The people here are very friendly and knowledgeable. Of course I would immediatly call my vet if i was concerned about a health issue or something like that. There are all kinds of people out there. Some just want trouble so we just yea, yea them and move on. I have to say I am offended by your comments. Why are you here then if we know nothing. I don't get it. Whatever Anyway.... I am glad you got a clean bill of health. She sure is a little munchkin. Love them when they are so little. My babies sometimes run in their sleep, and wimper some. When they are in a deep sleep. It's normal. Yes they do get their shots in the thigh so that is why her little bottom is sore. There is really nothing to her, no real meat if you know what I mean. those shots hurt. If she is still sore maybe the vet could tell you what to do, maybe a little ice pack. Aw so cute. Just love those puppy stages. It's like having children you learn as you go along. There is no manual they give you. You will be fine, don't be so nervous. You are doing great!!!

| Sadie Update Quote:
i agree with you 100% that this site is one of the most helpful sources in learning about a yorkie and caring for one. i hope i can continue to gain knowledge from those of you that have done this much longer than i have. the only negative thing i would have to say is that on occasion there will be someone who posts information and goes a little bit overboard with their post, such as stating that something is an emergency when it really isn't. that rarely happens, and most posts are very helpful. i'm glad to have found a community that can help me learn and grow with my new pup. thank you for that! update: Sadie has slept off and on all day long. she still twitches in her sleep and it still makes me uncomfortable, but she's just dreaming and humans twitch like that too..at least my hubbie does. she's precious. and she had her first accident today...mommy's fault, i didn't take her out after a nap but put her with me in the kitchen while i ate supper. she pottied on the floor and then she pooped (on the potty pads) which was better than nothing...next time mommy won't forget to take her outside...:S anyways. she's great, i hope with all the sleep today she'll sleep tonight too, i don't count on it tho. one more question: how do i get her to drink more water. she has had some today, but not a lot and i was thinking she should drink a little bit more, i'll put her by it, i'll touch it for her, i'll touch it to her mouth, she doesn't seem to want to drink it...what to do? she's eating great though. | |

| i'm working on the album thing, emailed the admin. hopefully that gets resolved soon. Update on our first night: Sadie slept most of the day, then before daddy came home at 10pm we got up and played and played, she drank lots of water, she chewed on a bully stick (loves them) and she went in and out of her crate by herself. for bedtime, we put her in the crate with the bully stick after we purposely tired her out, and she lay right down and went to sleep. we got in bed and she never made a peep all night, mommy got less sleep than she did, she was up waiting for me to get her out this morning at 5am and i just praised her away, she went outside to potty, ate breakfast, and then slept in the big bed with mom and dad. daddy was going to take her out again after her nap and he left her in the living room to get his pants on. he took her out and she didn't go. then mommy was playing on the floor with her and found a spot, mommy had just told daddy not to leave her alone for a second she needed to go out NOW, but daddy didn't listen and so mommy had to wash the blankets that are on the floor and clean the carpet under the blanket too...daddy got into trouble and Sadie kissed his nose...haha. a blessed night last night, and a cute puppy sleeps by her mommy on the couch while daddy pays the bills on the floor. just had to update on our successful night!! have a great day, Sadie gets to meet her granny and grampy today and then her new auntie Karrie and uncle Andrew. |

| If you hit "Reply" and go to the section under the box where you type, you will see an option called "Manage Attachments". You can upload pictures directly from your computer there. Glad Sadie had a good night! |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk Little Sadie Rachel, I am just seeing this and I am so happy for you, your hubby and Sadie. So happy the vet visit checked out and I know the feeling of being over anxious but that just comes with being a new mommy or even not so new mommy LOL You know how the nurses in the new human baby nursery swaddel the babies by wrapping them tightly in a blanket to make them feel hugs and not open to such a big world, I think after Sadie goes to sleep if you could gently put a little light cozy blanket over her for a while until she gets bigger it might make her sleeping feel more secure for her. Try to forget some of the posts from the other thread because most were meant to help you and I know we are wishing you the best with this sweet littl girl. Joan

| Congrats on your pup! I'm glad everything checked out OK at the vet, I know that was the most nervous day for me when we got Stella. Take TONS of pictures and videos, they grow up so fast and you don't even notice it! |
