Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() I am sorry to hear about Denzel's allergies. My Cali has severe scratching and all the blood tests came back negative, tried food switches etc. She is now on Atopica and it has done wonders. I just know have been able to cut her to every other day which helps as it is a little pricey, but so worth it.

| ![]() Just use human grade fish oil capsules or pour a 1/4 teaspoon or so of olive oil on his food every day

| ![]() not totally sure...but intentions appear different in print. It looks like Jacs 1st post didn't show up until a few minutes later....and she re posted ~ doesn't look malicious to me at all...maybe wrong emoticons?

| ![]() Sorry to hear about Denzel...I don't have many exp w/allergies, but you should look into changing his food to a premium food. Here's a link to get free samples: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...e-samples.html alot of the premium food companies offer limited ingredients/ grain free allergy formulas. It might not be the food he's allergic to, but it would be nice to give him a better quality food.

BANNED FOR NOT SENDING A GIFT EXCHANGE GIFT! | ![]() my little denzel is going to be just fine i got a call from his vet this morning his blood work came back negative and he allergic to pollen and dust. She also wants me to change his diet to more protein low fiber and no grain. I will be picking up a list of her recommendations and compare them to the yt list that mimimomo gave me. As far as denzel he's taking his meds which he puts up a fight and i gave him a bath with the medicated shampoo his vet ask me to give his bath today due to his frontline dose he got on friday. Ive seen a little scratching from him in the past 24hours so he's going to be just fine. Thank you guys for all the helpful information and the comforting words. If anything shall change you will know and also im still open to any suggestions. |
