| ![]() So yesterday I took Munchie to a little get together and boy did he show me and everyone there that knew him a different side of him ![]() ![]() Also I stopped at where the get together was today and when one of the kids came to the car he growled at him and he didn't even do anything to him. Meanwhile just a within that hour he was a petco and was rolling over on his back letting kids rub his belly ![]() |

| ![]() I'm not sure about the behavior, but I have a friend who has a yorkie and he will growl and bite if you try to take him out of her arms. If he is on the floor, no problem you can pick him up and he is fine. It's almost like he is protecting her or something. He is a very sweet little dog, but you just can't get him out of Mama's arms. Hopefully someone will see this and have some ideas for you. Hi, Munchie, you little cutie pie. ![]()

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | ![]() I would not tolerate growling of any sort for whatever reason. What i would do next time he growls while your holding him or he's sitting on you is to immediately tell him no and put him on the floor, then you walk away. Whether he's guarding you or just being a bully its NOT cute and its not something that should be tolerated. If you just continue to hold him while he's doing that bad behavior then he's being rewarded. If you take away the object (you in this case) that he is guarding then his game becomes no fun any more.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() Maybe he was intimidated by the other dogs and was acting out of fear? Like Kelly said do not tolerate it or you will have serious problems.
