I'm not sure about the behavior, but I have a friend who has a yorkie and he will growl and bite if you try to take him out of her arms. If he is on the floor, no problem you can pick him up and he is fine. It's almost like he is protecting her or something. He is a very sweet little dog, but you just can't get him out of Mama's arms. Hopefully someone will see this and have some ideas for you. Hi, Munchie, you little cutie pie.
