| I'm so sorry! I know how hard this can be to deal with as I've been through it a few times myself! I do agree with what others have said, people are trying to comfort you and maybe just don't know what to say so something stupid like that comes out of their mouths. Just know that maybe the words are wrong but they care and don't want to see you hurting and if you think of it that way, maybe you can forgive them. But don't be afraid to come here and talk about it as we all understand what you're going thru and you will find the support you need right here! Hugs to you..... |

| I am so sorry for everything that you and your poochie are going through! I think that people just dont understand, it is one of those situations that if you havent went through it no one is going to be able to console you, they just wont have the right words to say. Some poeple dont understand how much theses little guys mean to us.

| I'm sorry that your baby is sick My Rat Terrier will be 16 in September and I know that the time is coming that I won't have her around anymore. I've lived more years of my life with her than without her. The only thing that will make me feel better is that I know she had a long VERY spoiled life and was treasured every day. If your baby could talk, I'm sure she would say that to you - that she has had a good long life with a wonderful mommy.

| I'm sorry that people are making such rude comments at what must be such a difficult time for you.

| We are putting our hands and paws together and pray that whatever happens will be the best outcome for you and Buddy... It is hard and we hope that you will soon find some comfort in thinking of the wonderful years you had together... Don't mind people that don't really know what to say in such a situation and just get their foot in their mouth... When I have to deal something like that I only say: "You're absolutely right, dear!" and put my ears on 'pass through' like a friend once told me "you have two ears, one for in and one for out..." Big hug and belly rubs for Buddy... |

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | I also think that telling you that you can just get another dog is rude and unfeeling. Would you ever tell someone who's child has died that thats ok, you can get another one? No you wouldn't. Some people don't understand how we feel about our pets. I hope you will get to have more time with buddy.

I think a lot of us have been where you are and know how it is. Yorkie owners are such special people and are there for support. I am so glad I found this site. I will continue to keep Buddy and you in my prayers. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. You can send me a PM if you want. Please take care. Hang in the Buddy.

YT 1000 Club Member | I was raised that if your not quite sure what to say it's best to just give a hug, or reach out your hand with a smile or an I'm sorry will due. Sometimes just people knowing your there for them is enough and you don't have to say anything. I pray for you that your little one has much better days.

| I'm so sorry about your Buddy All you can do is try to remember that they never had the love of an animal so they don't get it. If you feel mean you could ask them would they say this if a child was sick.
