| LittlePaws...It was so awesome of you to take this puppy and find her such a good home. It warms my heart every time I think of you literally running to the vet with that sick baby. You must have a lot of love and goodness in your heart. Debra...I'm glad your baby is doing well, and I hope you can get some sleep

| We are in North Texas, we have 3 special needs Yorkies who are all now doing well, Please let us know how things turn out and if we can help. We are about 10 hours away. Our Ritzy is 3 lbs and we had her fixed at 5 months so something like this would not happen. We LOVE our babies |

| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | HI! I just answered your PM. I used a home made recipe that contained more calories per cc, as I had a hard time getting Tia to gain weight. Also if your up and need some reading material...there is a thread here on YT that goes thru all my struggles with Tia. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...your-help.html I warn you, its very long, and I had some very frustrating moments, but there are pictures and lots of updates that I went through. maybe it will help. but its LONG ![]() Quote:

| Just wanted to tell you we weighed gracie after each feeding... yes every two hours and kept track of it.. The breeder that gave me the refresher in tube feeding told me to make sure her tummy looked like a pear when you held her up.. check gracies pic of her laying down.. how big her tummy was.. she said as long as she has the full look she will gain her bit of weight.. not every two hours did she gain.. but we took before feeding weight and after.. for ourselves...for when you get tired.. it is a little harder to keep track especially the times when you feel half asleep or exhausted..she told me eventually that pear turns into an apple.. I always remember looking for that.. Sounds like so far all is going well..I wish I were in Flroida to help you tube her.. to give that break..for I would have given anything.. Jim helped me each two hours and I showed him and had hoped we could get 4 hours sleep as doing it alone we could have.. but he said I just cannot do it.. but I will get up with you each two hours and help.. we worked well together.. and we know how hard it is.. hugs to you.. thinking of you all the time and looking for updates.. anne |

| Your story touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. Your new little baby was most definitely heaven sent! (I think your husband had a hand in this). ![]() God has sent her to the most loving home he could find. You are an angel on earth. What a wonderful mommy. I know it is difficult to have a special needs furbaby. I had one myself though not with a cleft palette. I will keep the both of you in my prayers. Please keep us updated. God bless you!

| Ah thanks so much to everyone for the helpful advice and outpouring of support! It means a lot and will keep me motivated when I am tired. She just got fed, pottied, and petted for a bit and back to sleep for her. I guess I should follow suit and get my cat nap going too. Just wanted to acknowledge all the YT support network! You guys are the best!

| My God bless you Debra for all your doing to keep this little one alive and give you the strength needed to do so. I was so happy that things worked and she was given to you. I know she'll do fine in your hands and look forward to watching her grow up on YT. What a pretty little girl she is too. Little paws did a wonderful job getting her started in life now she is passed to you to get her through life. Prayer's, good wishes and lot's of good luck coming your way. Your one special lady Debra, I"m sure she will not let you down. She'll make it with your love and care. What a story, warms you up all over. |
