Pregnant yorkie mom needs home asap! This is just disturbing, I thought I'd post it, I wish I had the money to help this sad yorkie mom out, she is only 3 lbs!!!!!!!!!!! This person seems desperate to get rid of her, I feel so horrible. She's in Michigan maybe someone can help her. Beautiful Pregnant 2 yr old Tiny Teacup Yorkie Almost 3lbs - Detroit Dogs & Puppies For Sale - Kijiji Detroit, Michigan |
I called this lady and shared my concerns about her needing a c section, she said she thinks theres always a risk  but she has papers from the vet saying she should be okay to deliver! But as well she has said she is open to offers on the asking price!! Maybe somebody experienced can pick this baby up, I wish I could, but it is just too much of a risk for me :( |
How sad is this? She's bread purposley and then wants to get rid of her asap. Shipping is hard enough on dogs let alone while carrying puppies. This little one just looks as if she needs lots of TLC! I hope someone can help before she ends up in even worse hands! |
Could someone that is closer to her, please get this girl. I can't even believe she would consider shipping a pregnant dog.....a 3lb pregnant dog at that! WTH, is she thinking!?!?! That poor baby looks miserable and I'm sure she is!:( |
Dang it. I could possibly take her while she is pregnant, raise the pups and rehome (not at all interested in keeping another Yorkie right now forever...) but with the asking price of $1200 and the possible c-section at $1000 there is just no way. :( :( :( |

The c section is what is worrying me as well, I called the lady and said I'd call her this evening, she is willing to take best offer. I think she needs to realize the risk and that there is really NO GAIN here, just alot at stake :(. We may be able to talk her into a much more reasonable price. I am over in Canada, but it's about a 30 min drive for me or so. I just don't have that kind of cash for another couple weeks. |
Why is she so anxious to get rid of her? That's so sad! I'd take her in a heartbeat but I'm so far away and I can't believe shipping would be very good for her! :( |
Does anyone know when she was bred? |
Quote:
She didn't say when, but I know she is before 43 days. She said she can't have her checked for how many babies because shes not 43 days yet. thats all I know. |
Let's keep this bumped up and maybe someone close by will see it. I see such a plea for help in that little dogs eyes.:( |
Thats just sad. 3 lbs?! That is way to small for breading. I wonder why she wants to get rid of her so fast? |
That poor baby......She looks unkept....somebody please save this little girl! |
she does look miserable. such a cute little face and so sad. Could a yorkie rescue in that area help maybe? |

The dog is expecting and she wants to SELL IT? I would get in touch with the Humane Society there. They might even have animal police and have this dog REMOVED from the home. Trying to sell it now IS abuse and unless they can prove they are capable of providing for the mom and litter it should be removed from them. Has anyone talked to the Vet to prove this is legit? That would be my first move. That said, I would gladly pick up mommy and deliver her to someone along the route (MI to NY via Canada, if possible. Otherwise, I will stay in the states) or within 4 hours of 10598 for gas money (I drive a hybrid so it should not be a lot), but I would want to pick her up from her Vet only and deliver her to your vet as 10.5 hours is a long trip for a pregnant dog. |
Why is she wanting/needing to so deperately re-home her? What's the back story? How old is she and when was her last litter? ~Kathy:animal-pa |
How strange...WHY would you breed her and then want to sell her pregnant??? No registration papers? She is adorable but looks so sad and unkempt. |
Bump.....please help her!!! |
I truly wish I was closer so I could help her out. Hopefully somebody atleast knows of some breeders close that are experienced. |
that is sad my guess is she is afraid she will need a c section and cant afford one i hope someone can get the girl |
There are breeders on YT within driving distance but I just don't know of anyone that can shell out $1200 ahd then more for medical care... :( |
That is so sad. I will help ot with gas money. |
I cannot believe for a moment that a vet would condone the rehoming of an expecting dog, as the stress of rehoming would surely be a serious cause for concern... Poor lil thing looks so sad :( The really sad thing is that she will likely end up with someone looking to make a quick buck from the sale of her pups... |
Since we are on Page 2, just want to remind everyone of my offer on post #15, Page 1 |
Aww,poor baby! That\'s horrible ! If she cares for that lil girl at all she should just give her to someone that can take care of her needs ! I will never understand why people do the things they do ! |
I got the whole scoop... Well.... I called the owner, Danielle and "interviewd" her about the details. O.K... I am a little upset so I will try to mae this nice without judging. *She has two pregnant females to sell. The one in the picture is only 2.5 lbs! She is 2 yrs old. The owner has only had her for a month or so. She got her from a friend who is a Nurse and she isn\'t home much so she wanted someone who is home more. She says she is a sweet girl and needs to sell her or the other pregnant female because they fight. She says she will not negotiate the price of $1,200. It\'s because she wants to keep her the most, but whatever one doesn\'t sell, she will keep! * The other pregnant female is 5 lbs, 1.5 yrs and is the one who fights with other females. She is selling her for $800.-$700. Danielle has only had this pup for about 2-3 mos. Another "friend" gave her this dog because of the fighting issue. She also has an unneutered male that is 3 lbs. and just doesn\'t understand how both females went into heat at the same time!! The reason she is trying to sell the dogs is because she is in a bad relationship and her Mother bought her a house for her and her dogs and 4 children!!!! She can\'t move with all of that plus baby pups! O.k.... I hope you are sitting down.....She is selling the dogs becasue she needs the $$$ to MOVE and she can\'t take that many dogs with her!!!!! Danielle says she is not a breeder and didn\'t want them to breed, BUT she then said a few mintues later something about breeding her OTHER dogs of a different breed???????? When I asked her if she was sure the Male Yorkie bred with the girls, she said.."oh, yeah of course I am sure" Neither dog has ever been bred before. Ist litter. This is all I think..If I remember more I will add it. I am stopping now becasue I don\'t want to say anything negative. ~Kathy:animal-pa |
:(:( There are no words for this type of stupidity. There, I said it. I wish I could help but I can\'t really be driving that far until I get my heart regulated again. I do hope a YT\'er gets these poor babies! |
I also wonder what will come of these babies if they are actually born. What if momma doesn\'t make it? What if this idiot has to take care of these pups??? Even if momma makes it and she can\'t keep them, then what? This is all very sad. Isn\'t there some legal reason they can all be removed by the spca or a rescue or something? |
bump! |
I can help with some $$. Not the 1200 but a little . Let me know |
