| Notsure where this question belongs..butt hair.. How often do you have to trim the hair around their little butts, and is it fairly easy to do? I know I have to get some blunt end sissors. Also, it's the hair inside the ears you have to keep trimmed, is that correct? I think I've read to many post, I am getting confused, info overload

| I may not be of any help but I do the butt when the hair is long in that area. I've bought clippers but have not had any luck so I use blunt scissors. Congrats on your baby. |

| I always take my pup to the groomers to deal with butt hair lol, so I'm definitely no help there. I do the same with my pup's hair inside her ears, but I do know you aren't supposed to just trim it. I've been told you actually have to pull out the hair?! Apparently it doesn't hurt. I just know if I had long hair in my ears, I would hate to have it pulled out.

YT Addict | I don't know how to do ear hair... but I got a little clipper/shaver and I use that on him about once every three months, then I use scissors for a little upkeep.

| I just use scissors on their rear about every 4 weeks and trim them right up I use a ear powder I get from petsmart and put a little in the ear and then pull the hair out. It does not seem to bother either of my babys!!! Hope this helps a little!!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Here's a thread that will tell you everything you want to know about their little butts. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-grooming.html For their ears, you shave the top third front and back. Ear hair growing in canal can be easily plucked with fingers. Some people use special ear powder so the hair isn't slippery. We have a wonderful grooming forum, that has some great threads, and stickies on grooming your Yorkie. Yorkie Grooming Talk - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community
