I always take my pup to the groomers to deal with butt hair lol, so I'm definitely no help there. I do the same with my pup's hair inside her ears, but I do know you aren't supposed to just trim it. I've been told you actually have to pull out the hair?! Apparently it doesn't hurt. I just know if I had long hair in my ears, I would hate to have it pulled out.
