I'm am going to take everybody advice and get the chip I also think I'm going to see someone about the reason why the crazy lady couldn't go 2 jail this will handle because I am still upset that my mother had to get hurt because of this the lady live across the street from my mother and I just don't think she safe my mother been at my house until everything dies down. Thank u all for careing and giveing me advise I take it to hart and do what needs 2 be done!

I would be very concerned about my mother also. Your furbaby wasnt even there!! They may of been using that for an excuse to gain access to her home. Please make sure her neighbors are aware and can keep an eye on her.

being a nurse i can understand some people are truely senile or crazy .but the family usually knows it. so if this was the case why would they go with her and back her up. this tells me they cant all be senile so they are trouble in some big way. please watch your mom and doggie. i d call police back and ask what they meant when they said she is crazy? like what has she done?and should you be worried her or the family will try something else.

I think the police were very wrong not to press assault charges on the lady. If she is just a crazy lady then why were her husband and 2 daughters with her, aiding the craziness? I would be very worried for your mother too, living across the street from a family like that!

I agree about chipping your dog as soon as possible and never leaving her out of your sight! A restraining order for that crazy family to not come within so many feet of your mother might not be a bad idea either.

I think a restraining order should be put on them, they should not be permitted near your mother, you, or Rocsi!!

Unstable people are unpredictiable .Either it be a mental illness, drugs, or drinking. The most important thing to do is protect yourself and your family. I'd go the restraining order route, however if that doe not work, tell your mother to call the police each and every time they ever, set forth on her property. That way a report will be made, and there will be a history of those people behaving oddly, or threatning. This was an assault already on your mother/pushing. I am surprised that the police did not ask your mother if she wanted to press charges. She has every right to. Docuement everything that happens , if there are further altercations. If your have a video camera, use it! If you see them on the property video cam them> esp. if they decide to start peeking in windows, backyard fences , everything supicious.
