| I paid, well my bf paid , $600 for Teddy. Which I did not think was bad at all being since he is 6 months old and still only 2.4 pounds. The smaller they are the more pepole want to charge you for them!! Haha. |

| I only paid $350 for my Baylee but that was a special thing. We got her from a really good friend and he gave us a deal as a late wedding gift. Plus he owed us alot of back gas money (poor guy has medical bills up the whazoo. he had cancer) She has all her pedigrees and she is ACA registered. If we wouldnt have gotten that deal we would have had to pay $900.

| I think it depends what area you live in and what type of breeder they are. In Ca I have noticed that the puppies people sell for less have health issues because most people pay a lot for them out here. (In the LA area it seems like a few people have been ripped when buying a pup for $400-$800 that have LP, a shunt or even parvo...this is within the last few months) I would say the average is about $1,000-$1,500, but I have seen a few for $3,000 and up. With th eeconomy I think the price has been driven down because people need to spend their mony elsewhere.

I live in the San Joaquin area> Which is in Fresno , it is the farming community, however Fresno area is the large city, but their are Cities , many very small communities . Kings County area is not a higher income area, prices are going to be less, that DOES NOT mean that puppies are going to be ill of health. It is insulting when California residents assume that all CA. people have to pay huge amounts of $$$$$ for a Yorkie pup in order for one to be always healthy and perfect, depends the the area. I came from the BAY AREA. A huge Jump from where i live now .If I live there , then Of course I would be paying through the NOSE for a Yorkie Pup. I would expect it .My Suzi is over a YR old now, SO far , SO good. NO terrible, Illness, and SHE has been HEALTHY, no PARVO, or anything . MY breeder was good . She did not cost me thousands of dollars , and she's a PURE bred . Cathy

| Does everyone have papers for their dogs?? Are the papers a big deal? ...My first puppy, I am so clueless! |

YT 1000 Club Member | I had all of the paper work to register Roxie but I never planned on breeding her so I didn't send them in. She's strictly just mine to love. If your paying that much then I think your puppy should come with papers. I'm sure others have more solid answers for that. I believe DH paid around 1200 for Roxie. When I think about the fact that he did that for Roxie and me it just gives me butterflies to think he loves me that much (it was love at first site with Roxie anyway!!).

| I'm in Vancouver. I paid CA$600 for my girl last year. She was 4.5 months young and came with the first vet check, first shots, tail docked, dew claws done from a local hobby breeder. |
