| No offense to anyone here, but I'd think for $1000 you should certainly be getting papers! I paid $1000 for my male, who is by of a champion AKC imported sire, out of a dam whose parents were champions. Over half the dogs in his pedigree are champions and he is a GORGEOUS dog, very quality. His feet toe out a bit is why he was sold as pet quality with limited registration. Not noticeable at all with his long hair. I bought him before the economy tanked and I am sure he would cost quite a bit less in today's economy. People should really shop around when looking for a yorkie. The prices I've seen people charge for dogs outside the standard are absolutely ridiculous.

| That's what airplanes are for. If you live in a state like Massachusetts or California where prices are extremely high, consider having your pup shipped in or even flying out and picking it up yourself. When you factor in the price of shipping, it's still a bargain and you can get a quality dog cheaper than buying locally. I have shipped many dogs and NEVER had a problem. I think too many people are afraid to contact show breeders, thinking they could never afford a puppy from show stock. I know I was surprised to be able to afford a dog like I got from a show breeder for cheaper than the ads in the local paper were selling back yard bred junk. Just ask about the breeder on YT and get the scoop before buying from a breeder you don't personally know.

| my opinion price should not be a factor as long as you love your baby and care for her...to me the $1000 i Paid for Bailey is minor for what she means to me...she has no papers...but who cares!!
