I am sorry to hear that your dog past away. You are a very special person to rescue an older dog that needed a home. For the short time you owned her, she was able to feel loved and cherish. I hope you remember all the good times you shared with your dog, and I hope you can find another Yorkie that you can love again.

Oh sweetie, another yorkie would NEVER replace Oiliva. What it would do is give you a reason to smile, comfort in times of need, unconditional love - well I'm sure you know all the ways yorkies bring joy to our lives. I once read a fellow YT'rs comment that you will never stop loving your lost baby - your heart just grows to include a new one. Remember, Olivia loved you and wanted you to be happy. She would be at peace if you were able to bring another yorkie into your life and heart to help you heal. Big hugs to you!

I am so saddened read of Olivia's death. I can only imagine how traumatic this is for you. She was so lucky to have had such a caring owner especially with the turmoil of her past. I am so sorry that you have to suffer yet another loss but what a blessing you are to the older Yorkies. You have a very wise daughter. God bless.

It really bothers me to read threads like this. I know too well the hurt you feel. Bless your heart, what a terrible thing to have to go through. Its hard when you know they are sick but when you lose one and its so unexpected it is a horrible thing to experience. Little Olivia had a good home and was loved and that was worth alot. Bless you for taking older ones and giving them a chance at a good life. RIP little one. God bless.

You all are so very kind...thank you, thank you, thank you. I am missing my girl terribly this evening.

She was always snuggled right up next to me on the chair while I use the computer. When DD came to pick up my granddaughter this evening, she did leave my grand-dog here for a couple of days. He is a sweetheart too and is perched on the back of the chair next to my shoulder. My DD's are worried about me, I think - I am usually not an overly emotional reactive person, but Olivia's death has definitely brought my emotional side out. She was so easy to love and worked her way right into my heart! :-(
