I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you must be going through. I do know that you were doing the right thing, don't doubt it for a second. My heart goes out to you.

Thank you for all the kind words and pm's...it helps so much to know that others really do know how I feel. I have cried so many tears today that my eyes feel hollow. I have my grand-dog here today too and he is a comfort. As far as getting another - I just don't know how any other yorkie could ever replace Olivia.

She was just the perfect companion for me and fit in so well and quickly to our household and family. The house feels so empty and lonely without her.....

I am so very sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose these little ones after they take over such a big place in our heart. Bless you for giving her such a warm, loving home where she could finally just be a dog and enjoy herself. I'm sure she is grateful for that.

My deepest condolences go out to you on the loss of your Olivia. I know she's looking down on you from heaven and smiling cause you gave her such a great life in the short time you two spent together. Hopefully you can be at peace knowing this.

I am so very sorry for your loss! It sounds like Oliva lived the very best life she could with you. It doesn't help now but maybe when you can look past all of this pain you can see how much love she got from you and how much of a difference that was from the life she'd known before. You were an amazing mother to her and I'm sure she was grateful.

I'm so sorry for your loss, you did everything a good pet owner could do, so please don't feel like you did anything wrong. Older animals need people like you, even if only a short time.

So, so sorry to hear about Olivia. How terrible. The thing we all fear has happened to you. I hope you find comfort in knowing you were taking the very best care of her. YT is a good place to come after the loss of Olivia because everyone here can really understand the depth of your love for her.

I am so saddened to hear of your loss. You were doing the absolute best for her and what a great life you gave her in her time with you.
Just know when the time is right your big heart will find the room to love another one who is in need of you.

My heart is breaking for you. You had to take Olivia in for a dental, there were no options. You were doing the right thing. I don't think that age has anything to do with this terrible accident that happened to her. Missy didn't do well under anaethetic for her spay and she's a young, spry pup who had gone under anaesthetic twice prior. Sometimes these things just happen. I know that it doesn't make you feel any better...but just know that you were doing the right thing for your furbaby, whatever else happened is out of your control. I am so sorry that you've had to suffer yet another loss. I feel awful for you. (((hugs)))
