| ![]() I am looking into that now, as I was planning on purchasing Gucci an insurance plan no later than next month. I found PetFirst and PetPlan to both be excellent sources! Hope that helps. I picked PetFirst to look into because Gucci has some insurance with them already that came with his Home Again Microchip. I picked PetPlan to look into because I have heard many mention it. |

The companies are sure to differ across the pond, but our vet has an offer for 4 weeks free petplan insurance, followed by details in the post of this policy. This is one that covers for lifetime ilnesses....in the UK i got good quotes versus content from "More than". We have great price comparison websites in the UK for all types of insurances - maybe you have someting similar? | |

Thank you, I will look into these. I was looking this morning at the differences, but they offer more of a quote on money, not what you get for it exactly. So I will have to research it further. I want to get the pups signed up within this month, because they will be coming home soon.

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() I have a pretty sizable emergency fund, but I'm thinking I should get pet health insurance as well. Is anything entailed, like a vet checkup? Thor's former owner had it for a while, but she said she ended up paying a lot out of pocket because they didn't cover emergency visits(?). How does it work? Is like human insurance, where you have to go to certain vets in the area?
