I am so, so sorry for your loss. Words can never express the pain we feel when we have to say goodbye to one of our babies.

What a tragedy! I am so sorry to read this very sad story! I know you are beside yourself with grief. Did she choke on something? The poor little thing! I just cannot come up with the words to express how sad I felt when I read this story. You need lots of hugs and support now, I hope you feel it from everyone here!

OMG!!! I just saw this..i am sooo sorry ..i am speechless..I am just so shocked and sooo sad by this..I can't believe this!! Omg..sarah..my heart goes out to you. Please please please let me know if you need anything..gosh..sooooo tragic and untimely..

OH SARAH....oh my gosh...this is so devastating. I can't believe this happened to your baby. I am so very sorry. So so so sorry. There are no words sufficient for times like this.

I hate to ask, but do you know what happened? I only ask just to rule out anything contagious or anything that would affect your other babies.

I had cremation done for my cat, Einstein, and it cost about $200 - and I have her ashes in a little box. I'm very glad I did it too, bc I think I would've regretted it if I hadn't.

Oh Hun Im so sorry. How terrible. reading your posts you can see the love you have for your baby. and every thing about her sounds so much like my Minnie. I lost her Jan 9 and the pain is still so hard. so I know exactly how you are feeling. Im so sorry hun RIP sweet baby Sophie. Give minnie xoxoxox for me. I loved all my animals but deep down I loved Minnie best.

Oh Dear! I am so sorry for your loss. I so enjoyed reading your stories of your little ones. How shocking for this to happen so suddenly. Little Sophie was such a sweetheart. I Just don't know what to say. Please know we are thinking of you at this very sad time.

I am so very sorry for your loss of Sophie. I wish I could say something that would help ease the pain, but there are no words that will accomplish that.

As others have said, the inexpensive cremation is a "mass" cremation ... with a number of pets whose owners wanted a more dignified end for their pets than mere "disposal". The more expensive cremation is for Sophie alone, so that her ashes may be returned to you.

I have had all of my pets cremated and returned. There is an odd peace that settles on you when they return home. It's worth the added expense; you won't ever regret doing it.

My standing orders are to mix my ashes and all my beloved pets' so that we can be scattered combined, together again for one last time.

Again, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I hope you can find peace ...

Oh Sweet Baby Girl,
I'm so very very sorry for your loss. It is such a shock and there are no words to take away the pain. I'm just so sorry. My sweet schnauzer died while I was on vacation. I sent him for cremation and I think it was $75 and worth every penny. I sprinkled some of his ashes in the back yard, his favorite place, but the rest are still on my mantle in the LR and it makes me smile everytime I look at them/him. It is very comforting, I can't explain why it is, but it just is.
