Donating YT 11K Club Member | I still can't believe it myself..i don't know what happened. I didn't see when it happened. I was in the bathroom when i heard her whine, and she was in my bedroom when i saw her, she was already disoriented when i got to her. The vet couldn't figure it out but whatever it was she def. wasn't getting any oxygen in her lungs. My poor baby, i feel even worse cause she was suffering, she couldn't breathe. And i felt she was uncomfortable while i was running to the vet, i was trying to keep her as still as possible to ease her pain. My mom and the vet both tried cpr. I even checked her throat to see if any food was in there but couldnt see anything. I just really am shocked, and have no idea what went wrong. She appeared and acted so healthy. The only thing she did seem to have a tummy ache the other day, she had bad gas. And while i was in the cab with her, she made that notion of throwing up but nothing came out. But other than that idk I wanted to get an autopsy done but they wanted $500 and even though i really want to know it's not going to bring my baby back. But i would have paid whatever to save her life, i told them do anything you can i don't care how much it is, i just want her alive but they didn't even have time to. They just put her on oxygen i think..it was the worst feeling sitting there waiting and not being able to see what was going on.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm so sorry for your loss, I know you must feel devastated, it sounds like you may have a premonition type of dream. Losing a pet is one of the most difficult things we go through. My prayers are with you.

| I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how numb you feel. It's hard to understand why when they are so young. I lost my 13 year old boy this past year and the intense pain in my heart has eased and I focus on all my good memories of my baby boy. I did have him creamated and brought his ashes home where he belonged. It gives me comfort to know I still have a little piece of him.

| Sophie I am so sorry for your loss I know how it is when someone passes away i had my little old man Elmo and he lived to be 16yrs old when he died but i new he was ready to pass away but my Abraham was only 3yrs old and he wasn't feeling well so i took him to the vet and they did a blood pannel and the vet said he needed a little bit of potassium and not even 5 mins after they gave it to him he died apparently the potassium stopped his heart I felt so terrible i felt like i killed him because i took him to the vet. I was so devistated over this i couldn't even speak for a week my heart was broke this was my little man and i loved him so much and there was nothing i could do to bring him back i had an autopsy done and they couldn't find anything wrong with him so i will never know what happened to him the vet said the potassium shouldn't have done this i still think this is what did it but i will never know and i miss him so so much. I am so sorry if you find out what happened to her please let us all know we may beable to learn something from this. Natalie
