Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Poop Scoop Laws Now that we have thawed out in MN I have started to walk our Yorkie about a mile a day at the park which has signs up for "Poopy Scoop". I can't believe how much dog poop is around the lake! I watch and I swear I am the only one who picks up after my dog! I watch people and they know I'm watching and they still just walk away and leave it there. This park is small with lots of kids and people on the path around the lake. It's not just beside the path sometimes it's on the path. What is with people? Especially the ones with huge dogs that poop bigger than humans do! They are going to ban dogs from this park and then we will have to drive miles to the next closest one. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

| I have decided people are just lazy or irresponsible. I live in a high rise building, so there is carpet in the hallways between the units. For WEEKS, every time I'd leave my place there would be a new dog poop in the hallway on the carpet. What is wrong with people?!?!?! It's gross enough when people don't pick it up out of the grass or on the sidewalk (where you are sure to step in it), but in the hallway of our building?!?!?! Okay, I'm done venting.

And luckily, I don't have to pick up any poop a majority of the time because of where we live. It's basically on a big farm and just makes it way into the dirt, or the rain washes it away to the bottom of the hill, LOL. But whenever I take him to parks or neighborhoods, I always have a little plastic bag with me to pick it up.

Thor's Human Donating Member | The park closest to my apartment is like this. I think it's a vicious cycle. One turd gets left, and people see it and say, well *I'm* not going to pick it up if there are already turds here, and before you know it, the entire park is covered. Every time I took Thor there, if he was sniffing something, it was probably dog poop. They recently did a major cleanup there and it's actually sanitary for Thor to run across the grass now. But I can see signs up turd build up again. I can see getting caught without a baggie every so often, or maybe you don't notice your dog poops, but come on. And in a building hallway? That's unforgivable. Those people are going to hell.
