| I remember the day I got Laya. I went to the breeders (just to look) and she had 3 puppies left. Two boys and a girl. The boys were running around playing and Laya was sitting in the corner looking bored. I played with the boys and they seems totally uninterested and went back to what they were doing. I went over to Laya and she just seemed so sweet. Then I picked her up and she ran up my chest and snuggled into the side of my neck and just sat there, not scared but content. I knew then she was the one. I took her home that night. She slept in her little crate at the head of the bed. She was so small. The next day she settled right in like she owned the place. That shy little corner puppy was shy no more. Wow she has not stopped since. It was the best day ever. Makes me feel all fuzzy just thinking about it.

| We just got Delilah last Friday. She slept most of the way home, up on my shoulder. She was very tired that first night and overwhelmed with a new environment. She was sooo snuggly because of this and I loved it!!!

| I had been looking into yorkies for years... I had wanted one for so long, but because I'd lived with my parents, they said no more dogs. They did not want a puppy in the house because of the whole potty training thing. So once I moved out with my husband, I started my search. My husband said no to a puppy, but I searched for months. I found yorkietalk before I found Couver, and read about yorkies even more. I was determined to get my puppy. I found a female yorkie on Craigslist that needed a home, but eventually found out that she was offered to me and another woman, and I was so upset. The very next day, I was cruising Craigslist again, and saw an ad pop up for a male yorkie. It only had a phone number and his age... No picture, nothing. I called the number within minutes. I talked with the woman, and she said that her grandkids had moved in with her, and she felt that they were too rough with the puppy. She had purchased him from a breeder, but felt that he needed a better home. I scheduled to meet with her that evening. I drove out to her house with my best friend to meet the puppy. She was standing at the door when we arrived. I walked in and saw this adorable puppy, who was completely attached to this woman. He came over and visited me, but stayed near his momma. I was worried because he was so attached, but I fell in love. This lady was really upset about having to re-home him. She cried and held him one last time. I felt horrible taking him away, but I knew it was for the best. I took Couver in the car, and was ecstatic. The only thing I was worried about was how my husband was going to react! I drove home and walked in the door... My husband was pretty upset. He did not speak to me much that evening. We went to bed, and when we woke up in the morning, Couver was cuddled with his dad. I will never forget what my husband said: "You're kinda cute..." He had accepted him! After that day, we have not looked back. My husband could not be happier with Couver, and I am the proudest mom The next day, I just spent time cuddling Couver and loving him. He had one accident by the door, and he did not want to eat. After a day or so, I began to worry about him, but he began to nibble on his food. In the short three months that I have had him, I have bonded so much with my baby. He is almost completely potty trained, and is an amazing boy. I would not change him for the world.

| We got Uni on mother's day 2007, that was the day I became a mommy. In all honesty, my boyfriend wanted a yorkie. I said no because we were broke. (Still are.) It was the first and only breeder we looked at and we got really lucky. The breeder had a little girl about 10 years old, and she LOVES puppies. She would play with everyone of them, and gave them names (not officially). To this day whenever Uni hears a child's voice she perks up, gets very excited! She had two little boys and one girl (Uni). We sat on the floor while we observed them. The boys were very playful, playing tug of war, running around. The girl, was the runt, the odd one out, the boys ignored her. My bf wanted one of the boys because they were more playful. BUT THEN, the little girl came over to me. She was so small. She tried so hard and pulled herself up into my lap. She had chosen me! That was that, I said I want this one! We named her Uni that day. My favorite food is sushi, and my favorite kind is uni. (Don't get me started about defending it! LOL) So after we picked Uni up, we went to eat at a chinese restaraunt. If you've ever been to a real chinese restaurant, you know, IT IS NOISY! She fell asleep in my purse during the whole time. Since we got her more than two years ago, we went through a lot. In a nutshell, we lost our home, and are even more broke than before, but having Uni in our lives makes us richer than ever! Getting her was the best decision ever. She really is my best friend.

| I have always wanted a yorkie, but for many years didnt want to commit to a puppy. I lost my father in Oct 08 and lost my mother 5 years prior. I was devestated... It didnt help that we live in Japan and I am so far from family.I kept telling my husband soon after coming back from my daddys funeral that I wanted a puppy. He blew me of because I would see them in the puppy store ....goo goo gaa gaa over them and be done. On New Years eve, I told my husband lets go look at puppies! We went and there she was...they had one...she was so tiny(they have them for sale at 6 weeks here, and I know now, puppy stores are not good, but I didnt know where else to find one here on Japan) I asked to hold her and she licked me and cuddled in my arms. I was hooked..lol We didnt get her that day, but I bugged my husband for the next week to go get her for me. His thing was...there will be others. But I didnt want just any puppy...I wanted her. So a week later I went back and she was still and there and I bought her. She has brought my family and I such happiness. I know she was meant to be with us. I bought her using some of my inheritence monies...and have no regrets...I believe my parents were there with me that day, and thats why I have my Bella!I am the youngest of 6 children and they are much older than me. My sisters informed me after buying Bella that my mother always wanted a yorkie. She always wanted a "pocket" puppy...now I have one for her |

| I wanted a yorkie for at least five years and almost everyday I was on the internet looking at pictures and reading info about yorkies. So on Dec. 3, 2007, my 25th birthday I went to a pet store that I visited numerous times before and I purchased my little angel Bree. Unfortunately, I did not know anything about puppy mills at the time, but it was one of the best decisions I ever made and I have a perfectly healthy loving yorkie who I would not trade for anything.

| ♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | SATURDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 2008 Didn't know what to expect, certainly not a barn with two cute little pups. The breeder said they stay in the barn.If I had the money I would have brought her and her brother, just to get them away from that woman.Anyway she told me the price had gone up another £100 as she was a "teacup".Well we all know what a load of poppycock that expression is. Jessie wondered what was going on when we brought this 2lb ball of fluff in.She accepted it really well seeing as she was poorly.Up all night with her coughing .Quite concerned by morning and rang the vet for an appointment.Rang the breeder and she told me not to take her to the vet.I said shes not well. She said bring her back then because your not charging me with the vet bills. What a cheek! I didnt even suggest it and there was no way I was handing Tia back to her. The bond had been created and I wasnt letting her go.

| Wow...um my story is a bit different. First I got to see my babies being born since their mother belonged to Mike's grandmother. But the first day we knew the puppies were ours was right after Christmas (2 weeks after they were born) when we returned home from visiting Mike's mother for Christmas. We walked into the house and both puppies were laying with their mom. Mike's grandmother asked us to come talk to her when after we put our stuff away. And so we did and she explained that she didn't want to sell one puppy because it just lost two of it's sisters and she felt we could handle both. So she told us we can keep them both. At the time she wanted to pick out one of their names, but in the end she let us make the choice. But that first day was great. We even took pictures of them. That was a great day for us both. |

| We had to travel 2 hrs away. My Husband is a courier and he had a route that was 3 hrs away that I drove for him. Anyway the breeders house was on the way so we went while we were doing the route. It was Feb. so it was very cold and it was at night. It was the first time I had seen Chachi. He was so cute and My Husband fell in love with him too. He was also so tiny I was amazed by how small he was. I held him during the rest of the route and the way home. He did good in the car. When we got home we played with him for awhile then we went to bed. A month later we picked up Jewels and during the route again

| I had wanted a Yorkie for several years and spent a lot of time reading and talking with possible breeders. Contacted a breeder within 2 hours of our home and she had two boys available. Spent a lot of time talking with her on the phone - I have to give her a lot of credit for really knowing her dogs - she described his personality to a "t", was a perfect fit for what I wanted (and actually turned out to be accurate) Drove to go visit, trying to not get too excited in case it was not going to work.... she had 10 yorkies - adults and older pups (over a year old) as well as the two little guys. We played with all of them for about an hour... Remy was timid around us - would come to say hello, but then head back to his pack. When I held him though he gave me little kisses and seemed so relaxed. On the way home in the car he was scared, shaking and he threw up all over me, the blanket and the car seat! In the house he was initially reluctant to expore on his own... he would follow me around (still does to this day!) ... and spent most of the time on my lap, or next to me on the couch. Now he has bonded equally well with hubby, but I'm still his first choice |

| It was such an exciting day for me. Didn't know where I was getting one but knew I wasn't coming home without one. I did find Buddy in a pet store. He was the softest dog I ever held. I went looking for my first female but fell madly in love with this big boy, who, by the way, wanted nothing to do with me. He threw up on me on the ride home. About 1hr away. He had never been outside or in the grass or in a car. Only in an airplace flown in from Hungary at 8wks old. When I look back and think of all the things that could have gone wrong but didn't I know how blessed we both are. I thank God almost daily for letting me find him. He truly is a smart, loving big boy and is the highlight of my day when I open the door at night. He is always waiting for me by the door. I have never been sorry for one moment of my decision. We were ment to be together. |

| Well, I collected my little girl on the 6th sept 2007. My breeder very kindly offered to meet us half way as she was travelling past not too far from where we lived, so we arranged to meet-up at the services. I remember feeling very nervous as I had only spoken to her on the phone and emailed, and had only ever seen Pixie in Pictures! but I had no worries as my breeder is a well known, very experienced breeder and i could tell by the pictures what a beauty Pixie was going to be.When she took this little bundle out of the car and put her in my arms, she just literally took my breath away...I will never forget that feeling.I was choked with emotion...the first thing she did was look up into my face and then she started giving me little delicate kisses with the tiniest pink tongue! I was just in awe of this tiny little thing..she was 14 weeks old and weighed around one and a half pounds. She settled into our home and routine like she had always been there..it couldn't have gone more perfectly. I'm still in awe of her, even now after 21 months...she truly is the sunshine in my life.

| I was determined to bring home a Yorkie Puppy the day before Mother's day of last year > I was not certain just where from yet . I had wrote down phone numbers of breeders in the the largest newspaper near me . I live in a remote area. I was driving to Fresno to see a huge adoption event in a park, but got lost. It was over an hr an a half away. By the time I figured out where to park all the puppies were adopted. I was very angry .However, It was meant to be, none were Yorkie's . But, I still felt so frustrated, because of the long drive. hankfully I had the phone numbers, and my cell! YAY One problem, I was not familiar with the area . The first number i called they lived in Madera. At the time I did not know how close I really was ! I even said that was too far away> OOPs, It wasn't though, i had never been there, And hate getting lost. I call anther number, and this time it was a no go, as well, I really don't remember why, I think they also lived way too far away. the third number i called an older woman answers. She lives in Visalla, I know where this is, however, it is the opposite direction from where I am, but I do not mind. She is telling directions, but I've never been on that freeway. The lady also only has one little baby girl. I beg her to hold her for me! The parents only had three babies. I want a female badly. the woman is so wonderful and agrees to save the little girl puppy I have to stop in anther town to feed my son, and stop at the Bank. Well the woman's place is way out in the middle of nowhere> past all towns, and cities .I really get lost .I have no idea that her home is on a dirt path tucked far away from the street ! No wonder I drove by it several friggin times without knowing it! The woman, name Joyce, the breeder, finally meets us in front of her driveway and escorts us to her house . There , I meet the most beautiful Yorkie baby in the world. I can't believe it. She is incredible .It is love at first sight. I instantly am head over heals for this baby. She is perfect. Joyce is selective, and makes certain that we had not touched any other dogs. Our new puppy had been vaccinated , and dewormed a couple of times. She was ready to go . We had a long drive home . Our new baby has never been in a car. My son got to hold her. She vomited a lot all over him. He thought it was funny. It was gross , but funny .We took her to Petsmart, he cleaned up, We needed puppy supplies> It took us anther 45min to arrive home. It was the most joyful, exciting day we had in a very long time. my son and I had fun trying to come upwith a cute name .Suzi. I found YT the same eve. i brought Suzi home. Which was great, because i was at a loss , she was not interested in eating . they helped me . That night My Baby Suzi started eating, and drinking, she was ok. Then the following Monday I had her examined at the vet.
