| I never seen my Yorkie behave like this! I took Suzi in to the same groomer as always. To Ryan who I trust. The only groomer i'll yake Suzi to. She needed her nails filed down and her ear hair plucked. The moment she saw the door, she refused to enter inside... No big deal. I had to pick her up, again not a big deal. Than she quickly started to shake and pant... Poor little Suzi I felt bad already. She new , and had been there enough times to know what it was all about. Ryan is very good with her though, and gentle. And i know nothing bad has ever happend. By the time I went to the restroom, and paid for the bill , she was all done, and had gotten done with the drama princess . I picked her up and she smelled so sweet. He used a raspberry spray We went outside to the car , and Ryan was taking a break with anther groomer, Suzi my friendly little Yorkie girl would have NOTHING at all to do with RYan whatsoever... She seen him, get close enough, than take off... Suzi went to the other groomer, however, would not have anything to do with RYAN.... Ryan for sure is on Suzi's "poop" list . OMG, She has NEVER ever done that to anyone before. She detests him. He is the bad guy... Poor Ryan. Has your Yorkie ever disliked anybody before ? I am shocked that Suzi has done this.... To her groomer. I know Ryan has taken great care of her.... Just that he has to have had her hold still and probally used the clippers , made her feel really weird? or uncomfortable? Now Suzi hates this guy? Gosh I do trust him though with her. i just feel badly that Suzi hates him so much....

| awww, poor Ryan. Could you bring some of her most favorite treats next time and have him try to give her some? Mine feel that way about Dr D. Poor Dr D, he loves them so much and they just want nothing to do with him. I bring their most prized treats with me for him to give to them. It helps a little.

| I feel for you. I've never had Calleigh not like anyone. Can you stay while Ryan grooms her. It may make her feel better. I stay with my dog and she seems to do well. The only part that she pulls back from, is when her nails get done. He may have accidentally hurt her a little once and that's why she is reacting that way. I know my groomer Chris trimmed Calleigh's nail just a smidge too short and that's why she doesn't like that part of her grooming. My groomer is excellent too and I totally trust her. Accidents can happen. Good luck.

| I would just take her to the groomer she likes best. Something "must" have happen. They just don't all of a sudden hate anyone for no apparent reason. Bless her little heart.

| Awww! Now this is the main reason that I take my girls to a groomer----let them be mad at them, not me

| awww poor Suzi. She'll get over it though in time. He is doing something that she does not like, most dogs don't really CARE to be groomed, some tolerate is pretty good though. Ryan is just the bad guy today, tomorrow if he came over to her comfort zone she'd probably have no problems jumping all over him! My Fletcher has a love/hate relationship with my brother. My brother is a bit of a nut and makes sudden moves just to rile Fletcher up. Fletcher is totally scared of him but intrigued also.... so when he does try to get close and my brother scares him he pees all over the floor! LOL Its gross but super funny how obsessed he is with my brother and how scared at the same time. I yell at my brother but really hes not harming Fletcher at all, scaring him and Fletcher, in all honesty, is the biggest scaredy-cat(dog) EVER!

| You guys helped me feel so much better! They tell me not to stay or watch, because it makes "any" dog behave more anxious when the parents are around. i've seen that happen before. Ryan told me she did very well , however she does not like her right front paw even touched? Now I started thinking about this. And she did become very ill, the vet did a parvo test on her. I was not there, he took her to the back room. It may have been on her front arm or something? I am aslo assuming suzi just does not like to hold still or the feeling of "weird" things touching her hair. At one time she was clipped down too.. And Mean Ryan did that one too. Just kidding, Ryan is a awesome groomer. I like the treat idea. But, I know that when dogs are very stressed out they will not even eat treats. It's worth a try though. This place I take Suzi to do Mostly Yorkies in there shop. But, the only groomer I personally would ever take Suzi to is Ryan. It is odd that she detests him. I knew Yorkies are smart, OMG, this smart? He has not ever hurt her . They use a nail filer , not clippers . It is no Pedi paws either. I would believe Suzi has a very strong temperment... However, she can become very fearful quickly. Something about the grooming experience has made her fearful. Even though Ryan has not hurt her physically.
