| It is really sad that they cant bring their pets with them I mean pets are such a big moral booster and that I mean if people arnt already bummed they really will without their pets.... But I want to know why these people didnt leave when they had the warnings and told people to get out of town in the first place? if they said I storm was comming I would take what I couldnt replace and get my family (Gidget included) and leave town....if that ment that I had to hoof it or had to live in my car for a while......I know what happened is really sad and I do feel sorry for people but maybe im just cold but why did they not leave when it was suggested? |

| I was watching CNN when they were coverig a hotel where people had sought refuge. There was a couple of dogs in the room and althought they were a bit rowdy, they surely did help kids forget the circumstances they were in. I said earlier that I would pack up my babies and leave the minute they said evacuate. BUT, I do know that there are people who could not leave because they didn't have money, transportation, and everything they needed. I feel so sad for them but my heart is breaking for those poor souls who are dying or have already died in that cesspool. Noah's Wish is a rescue agency that is on site and rescuing animals of all species. Say extra prayers for the animals and their owners! |

| I don't see why they don't have a tent city in some parking lots. all pets welcome. but with a leash law. or at least a kennel. I guess none of us really know what we would do in the same situation as all those people. but my thoughts right now is that i could never leave my dogs just as i would never leave my human children. there is no difference to me. I think i would have to hoof it (with dogs in hand) to a safe town if i had no transportation. There are so many things to consider about being around other pets. control, waste, feeding, etc.(same concerns as being among humans) I would have to ask for a blanket for my dogs and I think that might upset our government a tad bit. LOL This whole situation has me thinking about making a lot of snuggles for pets for donations. too late for this disaster but i am sure there will be other times of need.

| Like everyone else I have shed tears over the pets left behind. There are alot of people that were not financially able to get out that have stayed with there pets. Not everyone that owns a pet loves them like we do. I hate to say this but a lot of the dogs were left with out a second thought. The media shows us people that are heart broken because they have to leave there pets or won't leave there pet. That would be me. I hope all the pets left will be rescued and adopted by families that love there pets like we all do here on YT.
