| Cash is also very light. He has been getting lighter in the last few months, but I think the South African sun has something to do with that. The lighter ones are gorgeous, but I kinda hope that June will be dark on her back with a light face. Her mother is a steel grey on her back and a very light blonde on her face. Will post pics asap.

| My girls are both still puppies but I think one will be lighter with silvery back and tan face and the other will have a darker tan/gold face with the standard steel blue back. I am happy they are both so different in coloring and personalities. They both have the same father but different mothers. |

| I've never heard of them being called platinum either, but that is a very fitting description for my Silvia. I've always just called her silver, but she's also got a lot of white in her. The pictures below show just how much her color changed in four years. Both of her parents were blue and tan. Her littermates were all the standard black and tan when born, but she was a deep grey/blue with some tan tips. She kept that coat for almost a year and has since then turned completely silver/white. Her hair is not long and silky though, but the vet tells me it is because the color was a mutant gene; therefore it is not as healthy, so it doesn't grow thick or long. I think she's cute the way she is though.......she's certainly unique!

| That picture was taken about 5 or 6 years ago so she would have been on either Chicken Soup or Canidae dog food. I do not give my dogs supplements. There are so many different types of Yorkie coats so sometimes it does not matter what you feed their coats won't be real shiny. Your baby still has time to develop the silky shine. |

| Tinkerbell also has a "platium" color, I just call her blondie.......I dont know how she got so light she was dark as a baby.....I love her either way.....even if she was green or orange ![]() ![]() The hair on her back change, sometimes she is darker, just now she looks "lighter"

| Thor's Human Donating Member | Oh my, she's beautiful. She has Bambi eyes. Thor's color is still changing. He's lost the last vestiges of dark blue on his shoulders, and his chest is going bronze. I kind of hope his head gets more peach-y. The hair is basically white. It actually looks like it might start coming in grey, though.
