I've never heard of them being called platinum either, but that is a very fitting description for my Silvia. I've always just called her silver, but she's also got a lot of white in her. The pictures below show just how much her color changed in four years.

Both of her parents were blue and tan. Her littermates were all the standard black and tan when born, but she was a deep grey/blue with some tan tips. She kept that coat for almost a year and has since then turned completely silver/white. Her hair is not long and silky though, but the vet tells me it is because the color was a mutant gene; therefore it is not as healthy, so it doesn't grow thick or long.

I think she's cute the way she is though.......she's certainly unique!
