| PISSED...the groomer nicked my dog We took the boys to the groomers today, we have only been there a few times but I have been happy with their work. We picked them up and they said both did well. I just noticed an hour ago that Samson was nicked on his leg, I feel so bad. I went to petsmart and got him some ointment so it doesn't get infected. I am just so pissed because they should have seen they did this and at the very least I am sure he yelped when it happened so they had to know they did this. They are going to get a nasty call on Monday and of course I will never take them there again

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Poor baby, this seems to be happening more and more, I read another post yesterday, from a YT member, her boy was also nicked, she eve posted pictures.Would you consider doing the grooming yourself? There are wonderful videos to guide you through it.

| Take a look at my album and see what the groomer did to my little Coco on Thursday. They were very upfront about it and apologized and didn't charge me for his groom but what the heck. Look at my babies ear. Hello!! I don't want to try every groomer around until I find a "good" one. My babies aren't guinea pigs. I don't know what I'm going to do. Talk about pissed. I hope your baby is doing better and the ointment helps. What is wrong with these people??? Big get well hugs from Coco, Pebbles and Trixie.

| With the prices they charge you would think you are getting a professional job. I use coupons for my haircut and I think nothing of a $45 cut for the babies. I think I might try to learn to do it myself as I have 3 babies. They won't do this to my babies again. No way!!

thanks....Sorry this happened to you too. I don't know why these people don't understand these are our babies. I feel as protective of them as I do my own children. I talked to my daughter who is a vet tech and she said it happens more often than you think and they have had to put stitches in several dogs because of cuts that happened when getting groomed.

| If this were a common occurance I would go to another groomer. Remember, they are working on live moving and sometimes scared dogs. Its easy to nick a mis-behaving dog. I have been grooming my own dogs for almost 30 years and I still nick one now and then. But she should have told you when you picked up the dog and at least given you a discount.

| His ear is better I think. It doesn't seem to be bothering him. He only yelped yesterday when Pebby was plying with him. I just hope the brown part goes away. It is not even red or anything. The guy told me it really bled alot. He showed me the piece they took off. Why do they have to go so close to the skin on the ear? I just don't understand that.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I also had some problems and I've been grooming ever since, I just need to get the hang on the nail trimming, but for the rest, I'm happy, Max is happy and we get to save that money.
