| Sondra2004 was so nice to offer to buy a very cute and WARM coat for Truman. It came in the mail yesterday and I took a few pictures of him in the yard. It has been cold here the past few days and poor little guy was freezing with no hair and no meat on his bones! Not any more! Truman and I want to thank you for being so kind and caring ![]() Truman is now eating 2 to 3 bowls of food a day the little oinker! I do believe he is somewhat housebroken since he will now bark to go outside. He can't find the door but when he barks we all know what it means. I have not decided if he can hear or if he is still too weak to want to hear. After the pictures that I took my husband was bringing him in the back door with a huge smile on his face. He then told me that Truman was wagging him tail, not one of those pitiful half up and down wags but straight up in the air full on WAG!

| I forgot to add one Truman millstone..he has started to lick himself. He was licking his leg and paw today for the very first time. Can you even imagine being so weak and sick to not have the strength Now I am sounding like a proud and protective mom

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Jodi...I just read your story about Truman and somehow I am not surprised you did this wonderful rescue given the heart you have. Truman is very lucky to be with you and your family even as a foster. Just made a small donation too. Wish it could have been more. You are Truman's hero!

| I think it is amazing what you are doing. I wanted to tell you that rimadyl might be good from Truman. It is an antiinflammitory that could help with his arthritis. It was also prescribed for our Schnauzer with Cataracts (cataracts are caused by inflammation) This was recommended by a Veterinary Opthomologist. I know like all meds, it does have some risks and side effects. Maybe ask your vet what he thinks. It could kill two birds with one stone, arthritis and help with the progression of cataracts.

| It is a thrill to hear that Truman is wagging his tail! The simplest things we take for granted in our furbabies. What a great coat for a very deserving boy!

Thank you Margaret for caring about Truman and making a donation. Next time you talk to your sister be sure to tell her that Bogey has a new foster brother. I remember when I brought Bogey home from the shelter how skinny and weak he was. My husband and I were just talking how pitiful Bogey was when he first came to live with us. Now he runs and jumps and even plays with toys~no of which he did when I brought him home. When I look at him now I hope and pray that Truman will even get to half of what Bogey has become. He's my little lovebug ![]() Gamfas~I wanted to thank you too for making a donation to Truman's care! Truman sends his love To anyone that I might have missed. Thank you so much for caring and helping our little man! If it wasn't for everyone here on YT and your support and love for Truman I don't know how I would have made it this far with him. There was a time that I was very worried about him because he was so sick but in the past few days he has really started to make HUGE strides in getting well. There are so many others just like Truman that need love and care. Look what just a little time, loves and of course money did for Truman. It breaks my heart even think of what could have happened to him. Thank you everyone!

| Oh, he looks so happy being outside, in the pictures, and sniffing like a real dog. The coat is darling and so glad he is making daily doggie improvements.

| I had Truman back to the vet today and he was such a star! Unlike the last time he visited the vet he walked all the way into the office by himself! He had his head held high and his tail was wagging as we WALKED through the front door He needed a butt squeezing (anal glands) since I have not taken him into the groomer yet and of course this was not something poor Truman had ever had done before. The vet said he has a small adenoma in his rectum that was most likely from never being neutered and should go away after his surgery in a few weeks. His ears infection is all cleared up and his cough is almost gone. He had a smile on his face from ear to ear at the end of Truman's exam! When I got home a found a present for Truman from YorkieMumma (Charisa). She has been so kind to Truman and sent him 2 beautiful sweaters from Oscar Newman which she owns. Oscar Newman - Pet Couture So that would be my newest picture of Truman in his hip and manly Oscar Newman sweater. Take a look at the little guy The other picture is of him after he decided he wanted to climb into the laundry basket for a nap yesterday.

| Truman could not be any cuter. I have been following his progress and I am so happy for him. I must say you are awesome and kind hearted and people like you make the world a better place. Are you going to keep Truman? I hope so, I want the best for him and that picture of him in the laundry basket sure looks like he belongs in your home.
