I think it is amazing what you are doing. I wanted to tell you that rimadyl might be good from Truman. It is an antiinflammitory that could help with his arthritis. It was also prescribed for our Schnauzer with Cataracts (cataracts are caused by inflammation) This was recommended by a Veterinary Opthomologist. I know like all meds, it does have some risks and side effects. Maybe ask your vet what he thinks. It could kill two birds with one stone, arthritis and help with the progression of cataracts.
