| I can't stand people like that! I get that a lot too, people think they're better because their dog is smaller?! What in the world is that?! Who cares! I'd honestly just like to slap them upside their forehead. I usually just brag right back about my 9 lb healthy babygirl.

If it's any consolation, I think everyone gets rude comments about their dogs. Your dog will be too big, or too small, or off-color, or too friendly, too SOMETHING for somebody and they will tell you all about it. I agree it's annoying. . . . . . Growth Fairy!?!?! HAHAHAHAHA!

| It never fails when we go out - Bailey's size is discussed with strangers. She's either "big" for a yorkie or "small" for a yorkie....I hear it all. BTW - she's 6 lbs. lol Its all relative.

I absolutely agree....only you also forgot "mouse"...that's what my little Tulip gets called all the time..I have a so-called "friend" that won't even come near my yorkies because they are ratz to her..so like others have said...it doesn't matter ....there will always be some "jerks" out there that will try to make you feel bad about your babies.....large or small....but at the end of the day "WHO CARES"...unless they directly are in your life...Let it go...I wouldn't have let that comment ruin one SECOND of my day... We ALL get those sarcastic comments at one time or another....and you shouldn't lump ALL small yorkie owners in with one tactless WITCH!! That is not fair.....

| i am sorry that happened to you. that lady was RUDE! she is just stupid, try not to let it get to you. people are like that. i have a smaller yorkie, but i love all yorkies. they are all extremely adorable to me. because milu is smaller, people do ask a lot of annoying questions. like oh, is she a regular yorkie or a teacup yorkie, oh, did you pay more for her because she is smaller...etc. i don't know. people have these ideas about dogs. i don't really understand. i try to tell them stuff like, well, there is no such thing as a teacup yorkie, and it's usually not a good idea to look for a yorkie that's really tiny, milus parent's were both 5 lbs...etc. but after a while i just gave up, people read so much stuff on the internet about 'teacup' dogs. they have been brainwashed. please share with us pictures of your lovely yorkies when you get a chance!!! would love to see pictures of them. |

| if this make you feel any better... i think people with smaller yorkies also get stupid comments from people. i have a lot of friends who do not like small dogs. they think that they are not 'real' dogs. and some people (complete strangers) would look at milu with either disgust or annoyance. i don't know why. maybe they think people who have smaller dogs are like that stupid lady who was rude to you and that only stupid people would get a tiny dog... |

| That lady was 'bragging" about how tiny her yorkie was.... I'd would of just told her she has a cute Yorkie, but a snotty owner, then shrug my shoulders and walk away.. To me all Yorkies are adorable, no matter what! People simply just do not have any manners these days and don't care either. aparently size was very important to that woman , for some reason. My Suzi is a enormous 7 lbs, and even lokos tinier now because she was shaved yesterday .I would not let it bother me though because that was just that one person's opinion .

yorkies are NOT larger dogs, all yorkies are small dogs... they are a small breed. when milu was going to puppy social (which she hated...) a huge dog walked by when leaving, and the big dog sniffed milu, and the owner said "lunch" and then kept walking away with the big dog. i thought it was kind of funny...but maybe he was being rude. not sure. i just try not to let people get to me.

| hahaha, it's funny. but i would be a little scared for the doggie because that lady might 'get rid' of the doggie if it got big, since she wants a 'tiny yorkie' |
