best time for a Pup

As long as you get a healthy pup I don't think it matters what type of the year it is. You can always put a sweater on them.

I think with yorkies it doesn't really matter they don't get a rabies shot up until 12 wks so it's not like they can be outside before that. After that I would train them in a litter box or put the wee wee pad on pad box ( see amazon.com) As far as exercise truthfully, 3-5 runs around your house with your pup is more than enough truuust me . I see you are in Manitoba. If your winters are like mine (-30* some nights), it won't matter what time you get a yorkie.

Lola is 1.5 years old and she HATES to go out in the cold and snow. She was never paper trained and won't use a pee pad. I wish she would. It's always such a struggle to get her out to do her business. At those temps a coat/sweater just isn't enough.

If you plan to pee pad train I say get your pup now! You won't regret it!!
