| Same here. I didn't mean to insinuate that I wouldn't support her either. We all will. I've learned soooooo much since I found this board. But sadly, she is going to need a VERY good vet if she is going to take the baby that early. That's the only point I was trying to make. 6 weeks is way too young for one of our furbabies. |

| To the OP - we got our little yorkies at 6 weeks old due to some circumstances with the breeder. They are on the larger size (weighed just over 2 lbs each) which made it a bit less scary for us. So far things are going great. They do have each other, though, so that helps with the loneliness of leaving mom & siblings. I'm still new to this as well, but feel free to ask any questions. Bringing home a new liitle one is scary sometimes. Please keep us updated on how it is going. ![]() Oh, and congrats on the new pup! |

| When my princess had her puppies, my vet told me to let them go between 6 and 8 weeks but i didnt listen to her because i just couldnt do that...they were so tiny. I only let one go anyway but not until she was 3 months old and she was still tiny. The others i kept...i get attached so easily

| We got Lucy at 8 weeks, which is considered ok here in the UK - our vet was quite happy about it. We had no real problems at all - but Lucy was pee-pad trained already and was very sociable from the word go.
