| Never go out of your house with your Yorkie off a harness!!! Never let your Yorkie out of your site!!! If you see a big dog coming towards you, pick up your Yorkie and go the other way!!

| Maybe you should just stay in the house. Have you or your parents ever talked to your neighbors about the two aggressive dogs? Any leash laws in your area? Contact animal control.

| First off.. I have to plead that you do not blame the agressivness on the breed of dog. The owners seem irresponsible and the dog you are describing sounds unstable, not viscious. TWo completely different things. Keely was attacked 2 months back by a Large huskey and a Goat. We were in the back yard and she was attached to her lead and the dog came around the side of my house and jumpeed her while my back was turned (I was building agility eqiupment) Luckily the only thing that got hurt was me and the HUskey and goat, my girl was fine. I got rammed by the goat and I think i may have given both animals brain damage. They were always off leash and allowed to roam the streets and i shouldnt have turned my back even for one second. My point to the story is. Call the authorities because this dog could potentially hurt you or your future baby. Do NOT wait for something bad to happen before calling like i did. If something isnt done by the authorities kick up a fuss and they will listen. YOu just have to try. Trust me, i wasnt taken serious at first until i threated to turn to the local newspapers ad tell them how incompitent our police force is. They werent long seizing the animals from the rechid owners and finding them both great homes wher ethey could excell. Last edited by Keely_momma; 12-28-2008 at 09:09 PM. |

| I am sure you must have leash laws, loose dog laws in Canada.

| SPCA's cant do much about it. If the dog has shlter, food and water, the spca cant do anything really. I volunteer at the spca in my area and they told me to call the cops. Cuz we couldnt do anything about it. |

| Do you have a fenced in backyard or area where your baby can run free. Do not walk out in the front even on a leash. You will never be able to protect your baby and yourself if attacked. You are your babies keeper. You can control the situation. It's up to you to make sure your baby is safe. Don't wait for those other dogs to attack. Keep your little guy maybe on the other side of your property, But make sure you have a fence. I have a stockade fence so they can't even see eachother out there. COCO PEBBLES TRIXIE |
