| ![]() Doesnt matter if hes attacked or not. If he is Offleash, getting into peoples trash, showing gressive behavior and charging at people, he is a disturbance, and the police have to do something about it, it is there job. This dog seems unpredictable. JUst tell them that you cannot go outside without fear of being attacked. They have to do something. |

| ![]() You seem MUCH younger than 17 years old. Maybe you should talk to your parents and put the idea of a puppy on hold until you can do more research and put up a fence and have a safe environment BEFORE you get the puppy. Just by your posts, I can tell you have done no for-thought into buying this 800.00 puppy.

| ![]() Start by contacting animal control and the police. If they can't help, they can at least point you in the right direction. Keep speaking up and don't let up! Ever heard the saying, the squeaky wheel gets the grease? Okay, I know I am going to get heat for this, but I'm gonna say it anway. If I felt unsafe to be outside weather with my little doggie or not because of an aggressive dog, I would carry some kind of a weapon with me, even if it was just a ball bat. No way is anyone or anything attacking me on my own property. Finally, I agree with the other posters about fences. I have a 6 ft tall privacy fence for reasons like this. I want my babies, skin and fur, to be safe and to be able to run around in their backyard without worry. |

| ![]() If you wont do anything about the neighbors dog by calling authorities, Then you shouldnt put the puppies life in jepredy. If you feel uncomfortable calling the cops. Get one of your parents to do it. |

| ![]() I've heard some people carry pepper spray or mace for protection. Small dogs look like a rodent or rabbit to a big dog, and sometimes they will go after it instinctively even if they aren't mean. Don't ever put your puppy in a position to be harmed.

| ![]() If you are totally unwilling to call the authorities or do something about this dog you shouldnt get a dog. YOU'll be putting its life in danger. If you dont wanna do anything about the agressive dog and are persistant about getting a dog and putting its life in danger i can only tell you 1 thing. Im like 5'2. I fought off a 200 lb Mal Husky and a 50 lb (very aggresive) goat. Its not impossible. Once the adrenaline gets pupming and the momma bear instinct comes out, if a scout was watching you would get a full soccer sholarship to the college of your choice. Because you can kick the Crapoutta anything standing in your way. BUt i do not suggest you leave it up to chance and attemp to avoid the dog in hopes he wont find you or attack. Cuz its irresponsible. Im just saying, fighting off a large dog at your height, isnt impossible either. But it should be your last resort. Last edited by Keely_momma; 12-28-2008 at 09:45 PM. |

| ![]() A dog is fast, especially one thats on the hunt. Its too risky. YOu will not be able to move fast enough onless you had one coverind every square inch of the sidewalk. By the time you found one it would probabl be too late. |
