Start by contacting animal control and the police. If they can't help, they can at least point you in the right direction. Keep speaking up and don't let up! Ever heard the saying, the squeaky wheel gets the grease?

Okay, I know I am going to get heat for this, but I'm gonna say it anway. If I felt unsafe to be outside weather with my little doggie or not because of an aggressive dog, I would carry some kind of a weapon with me, even if it was just a ball bat. No way is anyone or anything attacking me on my own property.

Finally, I agree with the other posters about fences. I have a 6 ft tall privacy fence for reasons like this. I want my babies, skin and fur, to be safe and to be able to run around in their backyard without worry.
