I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | ![]() Tatum does this all the time, and Stedman does it sometimes. My moms Yorkie does this too...but she'll grab a piece of kibble and haul butt with it in the other room....LOL. Aren't they so funny? Who knows what is going on in those little heads of theirs ![]()

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() Thor just started doing this. I think it's a combination of being on a dry food and having another dog in the apartment. I have no idea where he's taken the food. I think he burned more calories hiding his meal than he got from eating it! I gave this other dog all the bones I originally bought for Thor, because Thor showed no interest in them. Of course, that dog "buried" all of his new treasures in my furniture. My apartment is stuffed with dog food! |

| ![]() Our Oliver, almost 14, has done this for ages. Always 2 pieces of kibble--one at a time--and always dropped in the same place: just beyond the kitchen door. He may or may not go back later and eat it. Meanwhile, it's right in a place where we are likely to step on it & grind it into the grooves of the hardwood floor. Meanwhile, he then goes back to his bowl in the kitchen and chows down. Who knows? I've certainly enjoyed all the stories. All this time I thought we were alone in this situation. |
