Our Oliver, almost 14, has done this for ages. Always 2 pieces of kibble--one at a time--and always dropped in the same place: just beyond the kitchen door. He may or may not go back later and eat it. Meanwhile, it's right in a place where we are likely to step on it & grind it into the grooves of the hardwood floor. Meanwhile, he then goes back to his bowl in the kitchen and chows down.

I've certainly enjoyed all the stories. All this time I thought we were alone in this situation. |
