In the long run you want a breeder you can trust and have good open communication with long after you bring your puppy home. One that will lie to you is not someone that you would want to deal with. You were honest with her and she should have given you the same respect.

While it is ultimately her decision where she place a puppy , you are entitled to the truth as to why she felt you were not a good match. It may have been a just a gut feeling or even a miscommunication of sorts , but she would never know without being truthful with you.

If she wanted your honesty , she should give it in return. That is how a good reputation is built.

I'm glad your situation worked out and can't wait to see your new furbaby online
