| I'm sorry for your friend's dogs and for what she had to go through. I hope she can get past this and that her other dogs weren't too traumatized. That being said I will say this...Bostons are not nice dogs. Our son has had a female for several years now and she has killed 2 of their little Quaker birds right in front of their sons. I would never take my dogs around her...just wouldn't feel comfortable for their safety. |

| Sad story.... Just curious...when the boston killed the s**tz zhu in the week prior, did she not have an idea then what happened or who killed him/her? I wouldn't have left them all together if I hadn't known yet what happened....& tragically it happened again a week later. ![]() Sorry for your friends loss..I'm sure she feels awful!

| OH MY! Not to be mean, but I wish that I hadn't read that story. I have horrible images in my head!!! I have a Malt and a Yorkie, they are plenty of work for us. Our family is full, but WOW! My prayers are with your friend, that must be horrifying for her!

| Bostons are one of the bully breeds, but they do have a wonderful disposition. I took care of a momma Boston for some show folks who were moving and she had 4 babies. When those little guys were about 8 weeks old they took off after a Doberman and chased it a couple of blocks. Was funny as could be, but it would not have been if they were full grown and did that. I was given pick of that litter for helping take care of all these guys and I chose a female that was sweet as sugar and that's what we named her. When she was a couple of years old I dog sat a Schnauzer boy who got after my tiny Chihuahua and the prey drive kicked in with him and the Boston and they were after my little girl before I broke it up. I think most any dog will do the same thing if there is another dog that initiates this prey drive. I would never have more than one or two of the bully breeds at a time, and not with other dogs.

| Boston Terriers were created by breeding pit bulls with smaller dogs. Their original name was Boston Bull Terrier. Some strains are still very dog deadly. Never trust them with other pets, not even larger ones. Always separate Bostons from other pets. |

| I've since had to get away from this friend. I had to take the Yorkie that I had placed with her for her safety. Luckily she only has one Yorkie now. Hopefully she will. Ever have another. My neighbor has two bostons and I do not trust them near my Yorkies.

| So I'm not going to be popular with my post and maybe my post will reopen this years ago post but this issue needs to be kept at the forefront. First did the original post say that she gave this persons a Yorkie?! This person appears not to be able to take proper care of a STUFFED ANIMAL!! Second no one including the vet reported vicious animals who needed to be taken out of that home and away from other dogs??!! Third she actually left these "killer dogs" home alone with other dogs after first one was killed??! How many "dog hearts she need to find in her bed??!! REALLY??!! Am I the only one that finds something WRONG AND DISTURBING HERE??!! REALLY??!! I hope the original person posting this see my response and clarify this situation |
