| I had almost the same thing happen to me. Ringo's what I like to call "moustache" is growing out, and it sticks stright out to the sides. It looks funny. But, I think it looks cute. I just have to deal with it as it grows, because for some reason, it grows out slower than the rest of his face, and a girl that grooms that I know almost went at it with scissors. I could've died. Next time, turn and run!

| I am a groomer and when people come in with a yorkie to be groomed I USED to ask "do you want their face cleaned up?" when we where talking about the cut. To me that means shave the stop area(between the eyes) I had someone chew me out one day when they came back because they where growing it out and didn't understand what I meant when I said "clean up the face". Now I specify...."do you want me to shave between the eyes" That being said..... I would never go up to someone that i didn't know and take thier dog!!! That is crazy!

| This is completely crazy! I think I am a bit like you and tend to be too polite. But, since I've become a Yorkie owner (and a mother of 3 skin kids) I've started to get over it. There are just too many people out there who won't listen and back off unless you are very clear with them!

I looked everywhere locally, but couldn't find it, I'm told Petedge has it and I got mine from e-bay. It's called Petsilk Topknot gel, and I haven't found another product like it. It keep you from being tempted to cut the hair again, while it's growing out.

| thank you, i will order it online. milu looks ok though...i was just a little sad that she got that hair cut right before the halloween contest photos. (you can look at her face in the halloween photos, the hair is kind of short around her nose, can you tell?...i don't like it. but she is still cute)

| I took my Brutis to be groomed and he had a terrible haircut. I asked for a puppy cut with the lions head. I didn't want his head shaved and they trimmed all his head hair short.Thankfully he had enough hair to still do a top knot. But they trimmed his nose hair which I didn't want done. . I am growing it out now and it looks goofy.lol. But he is still cute if that makes any sense. I will NEVER take Brutis back to a groomers. I don't know what they did to him but he is terrified to be brushed or bathed or groomed at all. He just shakes whenever I try to groom him. My poor baby. |
