That's good advice. I don't want Ranger to feel replaced or displaced, I love that little buggar with all my heart. But Ryder stole my heart from the second I saw him. I can't believe he will be home in just a few days. I am frantically cleaning my house like I am getting ready for a houseguest!!!

I hope Nicki is happy. She will surely be kept updated with pictures and all that fun stuff! He will be a spoiled little guy for sure!

whenever I introduced a new one into the family, I always did it outside in my yard while I supervised. For some reason it seemed to work beautifully because the others didn't feel like they had to protect their things or their home. By the time they were let in the house they were fine. It took a couple of days for the others to warm up to the new one, but there were no

Congradulations on ryder...I am sure you willl love him be glad you moved fast because I was going to get him myself if I could have found someone to help me drive through atlanta... I even posted on here for help with the transportation but I had prayed about it and it just wasnt meant to be I hope you will spoil him rotten and GOD bless you and the two furbabies...

Congrats!!!!

Abby was only 11 weeks old when we got Daisy, who was 2 yrs old. So, the transition was probably different that what you'll be dealing with. We didn't have any problems though...so enjoy!!!

Thanks for the advice! I think that is exactly what I am going to do. He is soo possessive about his things, luckily, we have two or three of everything!

He will be soooo spoiled!!! I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Things happen in very, very odd ways. I wasn't even looking for a new addition (well obviously I was perusing the sale thread, but I always do that) but when I saw Ryder I fell in love and knew I had to have him. You will find the perfect new baby when the time is just right. Good luck to you!

Congrats Amanda!!!! Ryder will be so loved by you, Robert and Ranger. Ranger is such a sweet and playful little guy, it will work out just fine. Just go slow with the transition.
