In the beginning make sure Ranger understands he has not be replaced. He gets fed first, he gets greeted first, first treat etc. This will always not be necessary just in the beginning.
With the two so young and close in age...I'm thinking you'll have no problem whatsoever with adjusting.

That's good advice. I don't want Ranger to feel replaced or displaced, I love that little buggar with all my heart. But Ryder stole my heart from the second I saw him. I can't believe he will be home in just a few days. I am frantically cleaning my house like I am getting ready for a houseguest!!!
I hope Nicki is happy. She will surely be kept updated with pictures and all that fun stuff! He will be a spoiled little guy for sure!
