| You all are so great here. I love all the good stories and encouragement. It calms my nerves. I told Sam I was considering cancelling but she reminded me that I will just have to reschedule anyway, so just to get it done now. The questions I have about the onesie, is wouldn't I need to leave a hole for the tail and the pee area? So then what's the point since she can reach her stitches if I leave a small hole for her to pee throuh? Well if my life depended on it I couldn't sew one, but you gave a good description Allison. I will try it at home with one of the big onesies and see how I do..haha.. My manager is pretty sweet and felt really bad. But the VP just didn't think it was a good idea with 2000 other employees here that might feel like it's preferntial treatment and such. Plus its just against policy. But she definetely gave me some good options.

| I think she will be fine. I know I was a basket case when Snoodles got spayed, but she did fine. The first day she just slept, and the second day was trying to keep her from jumping on the furniture etc. But, see how it goes. They bounce back quickly! Pat |

| When my girls were spayed they had to stay overnight so they could be watched and by day 2, they were up and about just fine and by day 3 they were acting as if they did not have the surgery. They had no bandages and did not bother their stiches at all. They did not even need their pain meds although I got them. The only concern I would have is keeping your pet where jumping on the couch or bed could not be done, as this could break open the incision. My vet encouraged me to call at any time to check on each girl, which I did, drove them nuts I am sure. You might take Monday off just to make you feel better. |
