When my girls were spayed they had to stay overnight so they could be watched and by day 2, they were up and about just fine and by day 3 they were acting as if they did not have the surgery. They had no bandages and did not bother their stiches at all. They did not even need their pain meds although I got them. The only concern I would have is keeping your pet where jumping on the couch or bed could not be done, as this could break open the incision. My vet encouraged me to call at any time to check on each girl, which I did, drove them nuts I am sure. You might take Monday off just to make you feel better. |
