| Need Advice:Vaccines Hi all quick question I am not feeling comfortable about taking Jack in for the third series of shots today which also includes rabies. He was given shots too too early from the breeder. Jack is only 15 weeks tomorrow and weighs 5 lbs. Think I should reschedule the appointment?? My only worry is it important to keep the vaccine schedule he has been on. Let me know what you guys think before I call the vet back. Thanks Jack and Mandy's Mom |

| I dont understand why people keep saying you have to wait until they are six months to get the rabies shot when i told my vet that he said that if they had no reactions to the other shots that she would be fine.. |

| Vacines I would wait until 6 months but in my state we have to license our dogs at 4 months and you have to have proof of rabies. If I didnt live in a suburban area I would have no problem waiting but they already left a note on my door giving me a heads up that I have acumulated 2 more dogs. It really upsets me because i feel that it has so much to do with money not the health of the dog. But I may call the town and see what they say. Jack and Mandy's Mom |

| I would get the other shots seperate from the rabies...my vet did Maximus' last set of shots and then I went in a week or 2 later for his rabies...he was almost 4 months...I heard not to get it before 6 months but the vet said that as long as he hasn't had any bad reaction sot the previous vaccines (other then being slightly lethargic) that the rabies was fine at 4months!! Good Luck!!
