I would call the vet and see what they think. If he hasn't had any problems with any of his vaccinations up to now I think he would be fine. Most vets start out their shots at 6 - 8 weeks of age and then I think it's every 2 - 4 weeks until they are done. Even if you wait another week I don't think it would be a problem. My vet advised me against socializing Mollie until she was 16 weeks of age. I guess it has a lot to do with her size and wanted her to have all of her vaccinations prior to me taking her out a lot.
