| Does anyone have a natural flea treatment to share?? I am looking for an alternative to Frontline/Advantage etc. Wanted to see if any of you use natural ingredients for your flea treatment? Do you make your own, if so please share? Do you buy something online that really works, we want to know? Thanks!!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Some people recommend garlic, it's not dangerous for dogs in small amounts such as what you would sprinkle on food. I know it works for keeping away vampires, so maybe it works with other bloodsuckers.

Donating YT Addict | I know a long time ago we had fleas in our house bad and I was told to buy Borax ( by the laundry detergent in stores) and mix half Borax and half salt. Sprinkle in carpet with a broom and let sit overnight then vacumm. We didn't have a problem with fleas anymore. I looked at that fleabuster website and it sounds like it reacts the same way. I wouldn't put that on a dog, but it will treat your house and it's not harmful to the animals. |

| Our Groomer told us about the 20 mule team Borax trick too. Only we used plain borax. Just sprinkled it in the corners and around the rug left it set over night and then vaccumed real good with a new bag in the sweeper and then thew out the bag. I did remove the pets from those rooms that night and then bathed and treated them too. Never had a problem since. I occasionly use the stuff from the local pet store here that has flea deterrant (organic) that you sprinkle on your carpet and also something to help release the hair for better vaccuming. I don't have any right now so I cannot give you the name. But it works good and smells nice. The lemon water sounds like an idea. I had friends who used to use Avon Skin So Soft. But I never cared for the smell.

| I'm always recommending this site: Chinaroad Lowchens of Australia - Ticks, fleas, bees, flies, snakes and other gremlins! And how to deal with them!

| Borax does work when treating your house & yard. Also, Eucalyptus oil - check out your natural health food store - they probably already have a natural mix to use
