| 5 pieces of kibble, that's it and no more!! This is too funny of a story not to share... I fed the normal dry kibble in Schatzie's and Annabelle's bowl at our campsite over the weekend. Schatzie ate her share while Annabelle sat patiently waiting for her turn and Schatzie to finish. Schatzie layed down near her bowl with a full tummy and looked over at Annabelle waiting and had an expression of "yeah you will get some kibble when Im ready to give you some kibble big sister of mine"! You could just see the snotty look on Schatzie's face and knew exactly what she was thinking. I just sat in my chair and observed her selfish behavior and kinda laughed. Shortly Schatzie got up, picked up a piece of kibble from the bowl, walked to Annabelle, dropped the kibble in front of Annabelle for her to eat. Annabelle scarfed it down. Schatzie walks back to her food bow, picks up yet another piece of kibble and returns to Annabelle with the kibble and drops it in front of her for Annabelle to munch. Schatzie does this three more times then returns to her bowl, lays back down and looks over back at Annabelle and I swear could of seen her look and expression on her face saying, "that's all Annabelle, you get no more!". Poor Annabelle, she gets treated like this all the time but it was so hilarious. I then placed Schatzie in our trailer so Annabelle could return to the bowl of kibble and eat the rest in peace so she too could get a fully belly too. Maybe Schatzie is learning to share after all???

| Oh my gosh! That is WAAAY too funny! Way too funny! I noticed you mentioned your campsite. Do you take your babies camping? We went camping a week ago and I thought about taking the babies, but they stayed home with grandma instead. What all do they do while you go? I bet they have fun!

Yes, our babies camp with us 100% and love it. We go to many different parks within Arkansas and Missouri. We mostly don't do much when we camp. We are pretty lazy and just hang around our site and our babies are lazy along with us. They do though love their walks around the park site daily and bark at people and their dogs, ugh! But we all have fun and I can not think of one negative thing about camping with our dogs. We use our trailer that has air condition so in the summer we can escape the heat. Had we tent camped I doubt we would do too much in the summer due to such the high temps that the dogs couldn't cool down enough. (neither could we!)

| We take Rowdy camping with us too - and we too, have a trailer. Almost everyone in the campground has a dog (or 2). Rowdy loves it, he gets to sniff all sorts of cool things, bark at the squirels and chipmunks, and also gets to stand on the rocks with Dad while he is fishing. Rowdy loves to walk in the COLD river's edge (of course, ALWAYS on a leash). He loves camping - of course - it's pretty easy when you have a trailer! |

| That is a great story about your fur babies. WE camp with our dogs also (2 dachshunds, a yorkie and a rat terrier) and our African Grey Parrot. We trail ride (horses) during the day so we leave the dogs in our AC trailer and then in the evenings we walk or play with them. We were walking them one evening when we saw some geese and as we got closer, the geese ran for the pond. The smallest dachshund ran after them barking and when she got to the pond, she jumped right in after them, sank out of site. Just about the time she popped back up and started swimming to shore my husband was about to jump in after her. It was so funny. Needless to say after that she chased the geese but stopped just at the edge of the pond. lol |

| That is too funny! At least she shared!!! Most dogs just growl and bark at each other when eating or block out the bowl so the other dog can't get near it! |

my dogs could be an exception to this rule.. When we feed rusty (a 75 pound choc. lab mix) tucker (a 6lb yorkie) comes and pushes him out of the way! rusty stands there patiently until tucker's done then continues eating. i feel bad for him, but its pretty funny.
